Economic Miracle is an economic and political strategy and simulation game in which you lead any country in the world in 2020. You'll be involved in everything from diplomacy, economics, production, migration, ecology, politics, science, and war. The game offers no limits. The gameplay is aimed at simulating the future of our world, meaning there's no set plot—you're the master of the game world. There are no predetermined events that could have been scripted by the developer—every gameplay session is unique. To give a sense of scale, it's easier to list what the game has and will have using numbers rather than abstract, loud phrases.
736 ethnic and sub-ethnic groups. The game features all major and medium-sized peoples of the world: from the Mesoamerican Indians to numerous African tribes. There are also sub-ethnic groups that may seem controversial. For example, the game includes Latgalians, Kashubians, Rusyns, Polesians, Dungans, Bedouins, and so on. Every ethnic group in the country can be interacted with: supported, pressured, and provided with special conditions. Each ethnic group has different dynamic parameters: religion, fertility, education, discontent. And these factors vary by region. This means that the same ethnic group can have different status in different regions. Total diversity!
110 types of goods, divided into 18 industries. It covers everything: food, weapons, equipment, minerals, chemicals, and much more. There are also plans to expand into service industries, from retail to cryptocurrency mining.
1200 regions of the world. Yes, the game has more regions than some games, but some games in the genre have far more. This is intentional: we don't want the player to be bogged down in useless micromanagement or a lack of gameplay. The game should work in such a way that the number of regions does not affect the interest of playing for a particular country, and the game for one region should be as deep as for many. Simply put, the number of regions in the game doesn't directly matter: what matters are businesses, people, resources, and so on. Even the combat system will work more intelligently, so don't worry about region boundaries.
34 religions and denominations. Although religion is no longer as important in the modern world as it was in the past, it still has a significant cultural influence on the world. It was decided to explore this specificity, as it could impact both interstate relations and relations between ethnic groups. It adds an additional element of culture and depth to the gameplay. To further understand the details, the game even features a separate Armenian Apostolic Church.
A variety of interaction areas. The game has a very deep economic and domestic policy system. Foreign policy is well-developed in many games, but domestic policy often lags behind. And yet, this is a true gameplay treasure! You can: regulate the construction sector, change legislation, work with taxes, build factories and residential buildings, subsidize industries, prohibit the production of certain goods by private individuals, monitor local and global markets, develop vaccines for new epidemics, conduct research, develop infrastructure, create buffer states, adjust the conscription system, and much more. It's impossible to cover everything in one article.
And most importantly, everything described above has either already been done or is in active development.
