We’ve reviewed all the requests to join the playtest, and ahead of the Demo going live on Monday 9th, we’ve decided to open the Crypt’s doors early!
We’ll be granting access to as many of the 5,000 playtest requests as we can today, Friday 6th, giving more players the chance to jump in. This will help us identify and fix final bugs, gather more feedback, and prepare a stronger update for the Demo next week.
Our playtest which has been running since mid 2025, featured a lot of experimental ideas, mechanics, and even an early peek at a second dungeon and new hideout areas like the Night Gardens.
For the Playtest and upcoming Demo, we’ve refined the experience:
Stripped back anything that felt overwhelming
Focused tightly on what supports the core gameplay
Added a few new elements crafted specifically for this demo build
You’ll still be able to get a glimpse of the Night Gardens, but your horticulture skills won’t be needed just yet.

In Begraved, the full game features a 5‑day cycle before the dreaded Tax‑Man comes calling. For the Demo, we’re tightening things to a 3‑day cycle, giving you a faster taste of the core loop and the pressure you’ll face in the full release.
Your adventure begins in the first dungeon:

Starting today, you may begin seeing creators on YouTube and Twitch exploring Begraved! They’ll be venturing through Goria, diving into the Cave Crypts, and sharing their first impressions throughout the Demo period and Next Fest.
