💽 Patch Notes — v0.6.10

New

  • A Shop has opened on the overworld, run by the Chaos Witch at her card table — buy food to heal the whole party, a Dungeon Map that reveals floor plans party-wide, or Fate's Bane
  • Fate's Bane — a stackable die that re-deals a Trainer or Gem Forge offer via a new Shuffle button, guaranteed to show you something different
  • Everything your party holds now shows in one badge column, on the battle HUD and the overworld map, with hover tooltips
  • Options panel on the menu — Allow Telemetry and an Unlock All Abilities toggle for playtesters
  • Shove and throw previews now show the exact damage of every outcome — collisions, wall slams, hazard landings, and multi-target pile-ups

Changed

  • Caltrops now stop anything thrown or shoved across them — the victim lands on the spikes instead of sliding past
  • The Tarot Reader, Trainer, and Gem Forge all deal from the same card table now: the deck rises in after the greeting, shuffles, and deals
  • The Trainer and Gem Forge have all-new dialogue, and on repeat visits they'll recount the story of your run so far
  • Trainer and Gem Forge cards are priced in gems again
  • Your first stretch of road now coin-flips between the Chaos Witch and other encounters instead of always offering the shop
  • Character select: Warrior and Wrestler lead the roster, the opening pile deals from screen center, and co-op matches the single-player card motion
  • Updated item, point-of-interest, and shop artwork

Fixed

  • The chain prompt now appears when dropping an enemy onto caltrops scores the kill
  • Mixed Japanese/English text wraps correctly
  • NPC dialogue fades out smoothly instead of snapping away
