Pickle Workshop - V0.6.2 Update Notes

The v0.6.2 update brings several new features to the game, including pickles, a pickle workshop, and the ability to change game settings mid-game.

What's New?

  • Change Game Settings: I value the time players invest in the game, and to show respect for their time, I aim to remove the need for starting a new game to change certain game settings. If you're unhappy with a setting in your current game, you can now modify it without beginning anew. Gameplay settings like fog of war, enhancement cards, raids, fires, and production speed can now be adjusted in existing games. However, world generation settings, which are applied at the start of a game, remain unchangeable after that point. When a setting is modified, the game saves with the new configuration and reloads, ensuring the changes take effect.
  • Pickle Workshop: To extend the shelf life of greens and produce an alternative food source, a new building has been added that transforms greens into pickles. In the pickle workshop, three picklers transform 1 unit of greens into 2 units of pickles. While greens have a shelf life of 420 days, pickles last for 850 days.

Improvements:

The algorithm that helps villagers move closer to their workplaces has been optimized for better efficiency in the late game.

See you in future updates!
