The V0.6.3 update introduces two production buildings and two new resources that impact education. Additionally, it includes several fixes and improvements.
What's New?
- Papermill: A new production building that produces paper from fiber. Up to 5 paper makers can work here.
- Paper Maker: Workers in the papermill who produce paper.
- Paper: A new resource used in book production. Building a papermill is required to produce paper.
- Scriptorium: A place where books are crafted using paper and leather. Up to 4 scribes can work here to produce books for school use.
- Scribe: Works in the scriptorium, using 3 units of paper and 1 unit of leather to produce books. Training is more crucial for scribes than for other professions in terms of skill and experience gain.
- Books: Produced in the scriptorium and used in schools to boost education speed by 30%.
- New Enhancement Cards: 16 new enhancement cards related to paper, books, and their production have been added.
- Infinite Ore Deposits Setting: An option for players who don't want ore deposits to run out. This setting can also be changed in your existing saved games.
Changes:
- Increased education speed in schools.
- Increased leather production speed by 40% due to additional uses for leather.
- Decreased wool production speed by 50% due to overproduction.
- Decreased animal hide production speed by 30% due to overproduction.
Bug Fixes:
- Added an automatic fix to prevent raiders from getting stuck in mountains.
- Fixed an issue where villagers wouldn’t return to their daily routines after fleeing raiders and entering their homes.
