Hello Chaos fans!
We’ve received amazing feedback since our Early Access launch. The Leafian Games team has been working non-stop behind the scenes. We dedicated the last few weeks to perfecting the core mechanics of Chaos Constructors and filling in the missing pieces.
While this is technically a "regular" patch, it's massive in terms of content! We've also bundled in some unannounced features we've been working on over the past few weeks. Here are the details for Update #1:
Brand New Features: Game Changers
Bot System Added: No more waiting for a full lobby! We've integrated our new bot system to fill in for missing players, keeping the competition and chaos alive at all times.
New Skill (Hook): A brand-new skill that will completely shift your battlefield strategies. Tired of chasing down opponents or running after items? Then this is for you. Cast your hook and let the items—or your rivals—come right to your feet!
Combat & Quality of Life (QoL) Improvements
New Crosshair System: We’ve completely overhauled the crosshair system for a sharper and more intuitive aiming experience.
Damage Overlay: Added screen feedback so you can truly feel the impact of the damage you take or deal during combat.
Carry Indicator: It’s now much clearer and easier to see exactly what your character is carrying at any given moment.
General Combat Tweaks: Applied balancing and tweaks to improve the overall game feel and fluidity of combat mechanics.
UI, Bug Fixes & Optimization
Beacon System: Having trouble finding your base? Now, a glowing beacon in your chosen color will rise from your zone. No matter where you are on the map, this guiding light makes navigation an absolute breeze!
UI Adjustments: Made several improvements for a cleaner look in both the menus and the in-game HUD.
Achievement Issues Fixed: Resolved logic issues that prevented certain earned achievements from triggering properly.
Bug Squashing: We crushed around 15 various bugs of all sizes that were hurting the player experience!
Performance: Applied several background code optimizations for a more stable FPS experience.
