Hello Chaos lovers!
Ever since our launch on February 17th, you've been building, sabotaging, and basically turning the game into a beautiful, chaotic mess—and telling us all about it. Following Update #2, we spent hours pouring over every piece of feedback and log you sent our way. The Leafian Games team didn't just polish things up this time... we packed our bags and headed straight to the coast!
Here’s the massive wave of content crashing in with Update #3:
A Whole New Map — Shipwreck Shores: Chaos has a sandy new home! Sun, beach, shipwrecks, mountains, and a roaring waterfall. We built every corner of this paradise from scratch, and trust us—it’s just as ruthless as it is pretty. Don't forget your sunscreen!
Lobby Map Selection: No more dropping in blind! Hosts can now pick the battleground directly from the lobby. Everyone sees the choice before the match starts, so nobody can complain about where they landed.
Fresh Character Set: Beach day outfits have officially arrived. Because if you’re going to demolish your rival’s tower, you might as well look fabulous doing it.
Rivers & Currents: The water here isn’t just for decoration—it pushes. Players, bots, and even your dropped items will get swept away by the current. Feel free to take a shortcut through the river, but don't blame us when your bricks float away without you!
Bots Set Free From Endless Brawls: Our bots had picked up a terrible habit—once a fight started, they simply refused to stop. They would lock onto a rival and fight to the death, forgetting the entire point of the game. We've snapped them out of it! They now know when to disengage, get back to building, and focus on actually winning the match.
Bots That Actually Move: Fixed an existential crisis where bots would stand around staring into the void doing absolutely nothing. They're wide awake now, and they're coming for your tower. Sorry about that.
Vertical Aim Fixed: "I swear I hit them!"—we heard you! Aiming up or down now actually registers perfectly. If you miss a shot now... well, that one's on you.
Combat Feel & Punch Timing Rebuilt: We've made fighting feel drastically heavier and more responsive. Hits land at the exact microsecond your fist connects, and you can recover for your next swing a touch sooner.
Knockback Now Works On Bots: Previously, bots would eat your punches like absolute statues without moving an inch. Now they fly back just like everyone else. Enjoy sending them airborne!
Damage Camera Shake: Taking a hit isn't just a UI notification anymore. The camera shakes when you take damage so you can feel the punch instead of just watching your health bar drop.
Teleport Fixes: Portals will no longer drop you into the abyss under the floor or yo-yo you back to where you started. They just teleport you safely. Groundbreaking technology, we know!
Sabotage Scoring Split: Damaging a building and completely leveling a floor are now scored as two separate actions. Finish the job if you want the full points!
Final Scoreboard Rebuilt: Victory finally looks like a true victory! We've added rank badges, winner highlights, and slick animated score counts to the end screen.
Panic-Inducing Sabotage Alert: When someone is tearing down your hard work, the warning alarm now escalates—pulsing faster and louder as your time runs out. The impending sense of doom is provided free of charge.
Item Visibility Overhauled: The specific item your zone needs now glows, pulses, and is visible straight through walls. Less time wandering around, more time building.
Redesigned Name Tags: Cleaner, more readable player cards with clear colors, so you always know exactly who you're about to punch in the face.
Mission Hints Added: The game will now give you a gentle nudge when you're closing in on a win condition.
Damage Direction Indicator: You’ll now see a clear indicator showing where that surprise attack came from. Watch your back!
Zone Ownership Fixed: Zones would sometimes magically reassign mid-match, occasionally handing your sweat-and-tears tower over to a bot. This injustice has been fixed. Your tower is forever yours.
Players Colors Are Now Distinct: Say goodbye to squinting at two nearly identical shades of green trying to figure out whose base you are sabotaging.
Respawn Stacking Fixed: Fixed an awkward bug where players would spawn right on top of each other if a teammate left the match.
Settings Menu Fixes: Resolution confirmation, key rebinding, and the language selector all behave exactly as they should now.
Network Optimization: Sprinting used to flood our network with unnecessary updates every single frame. We've rebuilt and heavily optimized our network backend, resulting in buttery-smooth matches, especially on crowded internet connections.
Localization Expanded: Freshly translated text has been added across all 10 supported languages.
Your feedback and logs are the fuel that has kept this game moving forward since day one. Keep the chaos coming!
Stay chaotic!
