We’re happy to announce that the Escape: Immersion Demo
is now available on Linux and macOS, expanding the demo beyond Windows PC
for the first time.
Until now, the demo was available exclusively to Windows
players. With the latest update, players across the three major desktop
platforms can now enter the depths and experience the opening of Escape:
Immersion before playing the full game.
The free demo is now available on Steam for:
Windows PC
Linux / SteamOS
macOS
This expansion means that PC, Linux, SteamOS, and Mac users
can now experience the game directly on their preferred operating system.
Descend Into Escape: Immersion
Escape: Immersion is a cinematic 2.5D horror
adventure set inside a collapsing underwater military base.
You wake up with no memory of who you are or why you are
there. Around you, steel structures are failing under enormous pressure, water
is breaking into the facility, and something is moving through the darkness.
The demo introduces players to the opening sections of the
game, offering a first look at its atmosphere, environmental storytelling,
puzzles, platforming, and survival-focused gameplay.
Explore the flooded corridors of the facility, navigate
dangerous environments, react to unexpected situations, and begin uncovering
the mystery surrounding your past.
The game combines cinematic presentation with VHS-inspired
visuals, creating an oppressive atmosphere where isolation, darkness, and
the constant collapse of the facility become part of the experience.
More Platforms, More Testing
Bringing the demo to Linux and macOS is also an important
part of preparing Escape: Immersion for players across different
hardware configurations.
With the demo now running natively across Windows PC,
Linux / SteamOS, and macOS, we are able to test the game on a wider variety
of systems and continue improving compatibility, stability, controls, graphics
settings, and overall performance.
Feedback from players using different operating systems and
hardware configurations will help us continue refining the game.
The full version of Escape: Immersion will also
support Windows PC, Linux, SteamOS, and macOS, allowing players to
continue their journey on the same range of desktop platforms.
The macOS version is being distributed as a Universal
build, with support for both Intel-based Macs and Apple Silicon.
