We’re excited to announce that Escape: Immersion now officially supports Linux. The game will be available not only to Windows users, but also to players using Linux and SteamOS-based devices.
Making Escape: Immersion accessible to a wider audience has been important to us, giving more players the freedom to experience the game on their preferred operating system. SteamOS + Linux support has now been added to the game’s official Steam page.
Escape: Immersion is an atmospheric horror adventure set inside a collapsing underwater military base. Players must explore the flooded facility, solve puzzles, navigate dangerous areas, and hide from unknown creatures lurking in the darkness. The game’s visual style is enhanced by old VHS-inspired effects, reinforcing the feeling of isolation and constant danger.
The Linux version supports Ubuntu 20.04 LTS or newer, as well as 64-bit SteamOS 3. A GPU supporting Vulkan 1.1 or OpenGL 4.5, at least 4 GB of RAM, and approximately 8 GB of free storage space are required. For the most stable experience, we recommend using Vulkan, up-to-date graphics drivers, and an SSD.
