Mercenaries, we’re excited to share our plans for the future of Warhounds!
Over the coming months, we’ll continue improving the game, responding to community feedback, adding new features and localizations, and expanding the world of Warhounds with new adventures.
On September 7, Simplified Chinese localization will be added to Warhounds.
Our first major update will bring new customization options, balance improvements, community-requested features, and much more.
The centerpiece of Update 1.0.2 is exoskeletons for your mercenaries. This major new feature will bring powerful new equipment to your squad and expand your tactical options on the battlefield. We’ll reveal more details about exoskeletons closer to the update’s release.
Update 1.0.2 will also include:
Armor attachments
Country flag patches
Economy and balance improvements
UI improvements
Bug fixes
Several of the community’s most requested features, including the ability to choose a recruit’s class
Additional localizations: Korean, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Turkish
The events of Sea of Pirates will take the Warhounds to the Horn of Africa, where a new threat is emerging amid the chaos: the pirates of the Armada.
More details about Sea of Pirates will be revealed later this year.
We are also preparing to bring Warhounds to Xbox and PlayStation, with the console launch currently planned for December 2026.
Around the first anniversary of Warhounds, we plan to release modding tools for the community.
We’ll define our broader roadmap for 2027 toward the end of 2026, based on your feedback and what the community would most like to see next in Warhounds.
Thank you for playing Warhounds, sharing your feedback, and helping us improve the game. This roadmap is only the beginning.
Please keep in mind that plans and release dates may change as development progresses.
