Since launch, we’ve been listening closely to your feedback and bug reports, and the team has been taking action on the issues having the biggest impact on players.

Hotfix 1.0.1 is the first of several updates we're working on and includes fixes and improvements for camera and lock-on behaviour, save and progression issues, crashes, Steam Deck/PC save syncing, co-op, PC keybinding improvements, HUD scaling, and more.

We know that save and progression loss has been one of the most serious issues affecting some players, and addressing it continues to be a top priority for the team. With this update, we've added rolling backup saves to provide additional protection if a save becomes corrupted or fails to load, alongside fixes for several instances where player progression could be unintentionally reset. We've also fixed an issue affecting save syncing between Steam Deck and PC, while we continue to investigate further reports of save and progression loss.

Thank you to everyone who has reported an issue or shared feedback. Your reports, videos, and additional details are directly helping the team investigate, prioritise, and take action on the issues affecting players most.

Key Fixes in Hotfix 1.0.1

For a quick overview, here are some of the biggest issues addressed in this update:

  • Camera & Lock-On Improvements - Improved lock-on camera behaviour for large stationary bosses, with additional improvements to camera behaviour around large and elite enemies.

  • Crash & Stability Fixes - Fixed several crashes across PC and console, including a crash during the Egregore boss fight.

  • Steam Deck to PC Save Sync - Fixed an issue affecting save syncing when playing on Steam Deck and PC using the same Steam account.

  • Co-op Fixes - Addressed issues with co-op invites, hosting after reconnecting, additional disconnect handling, and players not being revived correctly at activated Nexus Gates. Co-op run progress will now also persist for clients, allowing them to continue the run solo.

  • HUD Scaling and Fixes - Added HUD scaling options and improved UI scaling at 4K resolutions.

  • PC Keybinding Improvements - Fixed several issues affecting custom keybindings, prompts, and HUD icons.

You can find the full list of fixes and improvements below.
