Exciting news!

We have been collecting feedback from our wonderful community, and we have just implemented a new feature for a popular request! Now you will have the ability to switch characters while recording your movies!

This will mean single players can try to execute multiple roles in a scene to complete recordings on their own! It will be very challenging to do so with the limited one-take movies, but we are very keen to see what you talented folks can all pull off!

In addition to that, we have had some incredible volunteers in our Discord community volunteer translating support for everyone! Thanks to their amazing efforts, we now have properly translated scripts for:

  • German (thanks Linokuni)

  • Ukrainian (thanks Maxx_Light)

Also by popular request we have added further experimental translation support through Google translate for Korean and Brazilian Portuguese!

NOTES:

  1. It is currently only the Scripts that are translated, not the full game UI. That will come later.

  2. For now, we will just test out new translations with Google Translate, but we want to get proper translations for all our scripts done in the future.

  3. The timings for the scene will still follow the English script, so we can't guarantee that the translated text will fit the timings when you are recording.

The Host can select script language from the dropdown menu in the lobby.

You may also notice an update to the Lobby UI, as we continue to work on more clarity and polish for you :)

The Steam Store page has also been translated by the above and in a few other languages too:

  • French (thanks Knuckle and MooChoir)

  • Russian (thanks MeQva)

  • Japanese (thanks Krodge & Mirei)

  • Chinese Simplified (thanks jenni.ferfer)

  • Chinese Traditional (thanks jenni.ferfer)

As always, please let us know if you encounter any issues on the Steam forums or our Discord: https://discord.gg/ZYdW3sZzJV

Much love and appreciation for all you wonderful supporters!

-Jeff

In-game event6 Aug 2026Demo Patch: 5.1 Audio Fix + Microphone Settings ImprovementsHey all, We've released a patch for the demo that addresses a failstate with the movie renderer where if you had a 5.1 audio output in Windows, the video rendering would get stuck on "Preparing to Render" forever. A big thank you to Phantimon from the Discord for investigating the issue and helping us get it fixed! Additionally, we've added a visual for the microphone output volume so you can m…Community31 Jul 2026An Update on our Release PlansHey everyone, We’re here with a quick update about our release plans. Initially we wanted to do our Early Access release in July 2026, however we have decided to cook a bit longer so we can expand our feature set, amount of movie scenes and add in some of the some of the requests and ideas from the community. We’re hugely grateful for everybody’s interest in the game, their feedback from playin…In-game event23 Jul 2026Patch: Low Disk Space WarningHey all, We have just pushed an update that includes a pop-up warning if you are too low on disk space to record. This issue was sometimes causing videos to not render, resulting in Preparing forever or a black screen in the theatre. For now, we ask you set aside 2GB to give the game space for recording and rendering out movies. (Most movies require 0.3 - 1.0GB each, and are compressed afterwar…
