Test Update V:0.0.41.0
Additions
- Fully reworked the new player experience — the flow is now leaner and more direct.
- Added the Wayfarer as the tutorial’s starting vessel; players can unlock her for use later by meeting certain conditions.
- Added a series of new tutorials: fixed turrets, missile silos, first loadout, manufacturing pulse cannons, and the star system map.
- Added a dedicated Training Ground mode and scenario, featuring its own interface, limited encounter combat, pause menu, and respawn after death.
- Added full gamepad key rebinding, with device tab switching, conflict detection, restore-to-default, autosave, and a prompt when no gamepad is connected.
- Added a main battery attitude indicator to help players judge turret orientation and stance.
- Added a glossary and mechanics explanation system — related terminology entries can be viewed from the crew, upgrade module, and relic interfaces, showing both mechanical rules and actual effects.
Optimizations
- Pegasus now has an additional Ability Device slot.
- Improved the tutorial UI: information hierarchy, fade-in/fade-out, focus guidance, and long-press progress feedback.
- Improved the mission HUD: added objective highlighting, diamond echo markers, off-screen target indicators, docking objective markers, and support for transferring mission objectives.
- Improved missile operation feedback: states such as “No Target” and “Locking” are now displayed in the target info panel.
- Improved input protection during dialogue to prevent accidental interaction with camp interfaces, camera, or world objects.
- Refined Build Feature names and descriptions, unified terms such as “reroll,” and streamlined the rule descriptions of several mechanics.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where, after deleting a save, releasing the confirm key would pass through to the underlying interface and accidentally trigger loading a save or starting a new game.
- Fixed an issue where target info and missile locking could error out when missile hardpoints were empty or no weapon systems were available.
- Fixed an issue where beam refraction chains could incorrectly hit space interactables and decorative objects.
- Fixed issues with tutorial waves restarting repeatedly, abnormal combat counts, and incomplete wave-clear conditions.
- Fixed a coroutine null reference in the mission HUD and the expand animation replaying when reopening the interface.
- Fixed an issue where infinite-stock items in old saves displayed “Not enough materials 0/1.”
- Fixed a potential null reference when closing the equipment selector in the loadout interface.
- Fixed an issue where the ship’s forward thrust state was not restored after jumping, causing the HUD to display negative speed.
