Update V1.704 brings a major expansion to the world scenery of Retro Flight Simulator 2026, adding hundreds of new and improved landmarks across China and North America, along with major improvements to Drone Mode.
### 🌏 China – 13-City Landmark Expansion
A major landmark expansion has been completed across 13 Chinese cities:
* **Guangzhou**
* **Shenzhen**
* **Chongqing**
* **Tianjin**
* **Chengdu**
* **Hangzhou**
* **Wuhan**
* **Suzhou**
* **Xi’an**
* **Zhengzhou**
* **Nanjing**
* **Changsha**

A total of **240 landmarks** are now represented across these 13 cities.
* Added real-world landmark buildings, towers, bridges, stadiums, cultural sites, and major urban structures.
* Improved recognizable landmark silhouettes and architectural profiles.

Additional landmark and autogen improvements have been made throughout the New York metropolitan area.

* Improved scenery around Fort Lee and nearby New Jersey communities.
* Improved landmark placement and spacing.
* Reduced overlapping and intersecting structures.
* Improved landmark scale and visibility from the air.
* Fixed several areas where town names appeared but surrounding autogen buildings were missing.
* Expanded autogen coverage along the Hudson waterfront.
* Improved town coverage around Central Park, Harlem, and surrounding areas.
