Over the last few weeks, we've been focused primarily on testing, balancing, and polishing the game to make your experience on Mars as smooth as possible. 🛠️ But that's not all! We've also been hard at work expanding core gameplay with new events, a building damage system, UI improvements, inventory upgrades, and a few other exciting features we're happy to share today. 🌌
Mars is becoming even more unpredictable!
We now have three types of events in the game: cold snaps, sandstorms, and solar storms. Each of them can occur with different intensity depending on the season, and each one affects the environment in its own way, creating different challenges for survival. For example, solar storms increase radiation, so staying outside the shelter or going on expeditions can be more dangerous than normal. Solar storms will have three levels— normal, hard and extreme.

We also added a building damage system during these events. When a solar storm or sandstorm hits hard enough, devices can get damaged, so repairs become an important part of staying alive on Mars.
We've also continued refining the user interface to make managing your base more intuitive.
One example is the improved Drone Panel, where you can easily monitor what each drone is currently doing, assign new tasks, and better organize your automated workforce. There is so much that can happen at Mars, so having clear information at your fingertips makes all the difference. 🤖

We’ve also added a slot system, allowing players to carry several items at the same time. This gives you greater flexibility while exploring the Martian surface, reduces unnecessary trips back to base, and makes inventory management much more practical.
