Steam Next Fest is on right now, and that means the Airport Contraband demo is free to play.
If you've been eyeing the game from your wishlist but never actually booted it up — there's no better moment than this week.
What you'll get your hands on:
Step into the boots of an airport customs officer and put your inspection skills to the test. Run tray checks, carry out body searches, dig through luggage, read your passengers, and decide who walks through and who gets pulled aside.
The demo gives you a taste of the core loop: the tension of a busy checkpoint, the satisfaction of catching a clever smuggler, and the "wait, did I just wave through something I shouldn't have?" moments that make the job so addictive.
Why play now?
Next Fest is the window where the whole community jumps in at once. Your feedback during this period directly shapes where we take the game ahead of full release. Tell us what worked, what caught you off guard, and what you want to see more of — we're reading everything.
