Victory in Calame is not determined by raw strength alone. Positioning, resource management, and careful planning are often the difference between triumph and defeat.
Whether you're just beginning your journey or looking to refine your tactics, here are five essential combat tips to help you lead the Rebellion more effectively.
Positioning matters. Characters attacked from behind take increased damage. Use your frontline and terrain wisely to shield vulnerable allies and deny enemies access to your rear.
Characters gain 1 AP at the start of their turn and can store up to 3 AP. Stronger Skills require more AP, so sometimes it's better to use a basic attack or item and save AP for a decisive turn.
Unlike Overdrives, Skills and basic attacks can affect both allies and enemies. Always check your targets carefully to avoid harming your own troops or helping the enemy.
Legend Points can be spent on Corrections to manipulate Legend Elements on the battlefield. Trigger explosive plants, drop crates onto enemies, ignite a brazier, or collapse a bridge.
Don't wait too long to use them, though, before it’s too late. Blocking a path and giving you time to regroup is more efficient than dealing damage and dying.
At the start of the combat, inspect the battlefield, study enemy positions, identify Legend Elements, and plan your route. Good preparation often determines the outcome before the first attack is made.
Commanders who rush into battle react to events.
Commanders who study the battlefield shape them.
The fate of the Rebellion depends on your decisions. Plan carefully, protect your allies, and make every action count.
