Dounia is the pillar of the Panthers’ troop. Massive and loud-mouthed, loyal to Princess Véra to the point of devotion, she never spoke of her own scars. But in her silence, there were years of fire and blood.
The Panthers were no longer the united group they had once been. Darran and his column had brought new ideas, and new victories too. Dounia liked none of it. Her Princess, her sword, and the blood spilled against the oppression of the King of Light: that was all that defined her, and she would fight fiercely so that none of it would change.
On the roads, Dounia remained loyal to Véra. But that loyalty was put to the test. For war changed people… even a princess. When certain decisions endangered the clan and its ideals, Dounia wavered. Obey? Or protect what remained of the pack?
Dounia begins as a steadfast partisan and Véra's first lieutenant, fighting on the front lines with sword and shield. As you progress through the game, you can shape her archetype evolution toward one of two paths.
Will she become an unbreakable guardian, devoting herself to protecting the battlefield? Specializing in resilience and crowd control, she can withstand tremendous punishment while disrupting multiple enemies or locking down a single dangerous foe.
Or will she embrace the role of a peerless champion, turning her martial prowess into an unstoppable offensive force? Focusing on powerful physical attacks, she can strike with greater reach, alter the shape of her attacks, and inflict debilitating effects on her enemies, at the cost of her mobility.
