Demo Quality of Life Update

Over the weekend I pushed out several updates that are quality of life to the demo:

  • An end screen will greet you at the end with the choices you made.

  • Amara's conversation has been extended to help find the different outcomes.

  • Najma's vignette portrait has been replaced with one that represents her better.

  • Surfaced a bit more reactivity to the player's choices.

If you have already played through the demo know that these changes are not significant.

What's Next?

I will continue working on the game with an early 2027 release in mind. The story is already written and all the main systems are built so it's all about landing the content, polishing and testing it. Choice and consequence are top of mind as I believe they provide the best experience to the player in this genre.

I want to add part of or all of chapter 3 to the demo because that is were the player has more freedom and many more consequential choices.

I have begun experimenting with localization and I think I have a few languages already translated for content in the first two chapters to a degree I am happy with. This includes both text and voice clip. I will continue working on this and see if I can release this soon or with chapter 3.

Until then, enjoy the private reserve, the soundtrack and try not to spook Petrov too much. He could use some sleep too.
