Hello everyone,

We are thrilled to announce that Tabletop Game Shop Simulator has officially reached Version 1.0!

First and foremost, we want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the Early Access phase. It has been quite a ride, and your feedback, suggestions, and enthusiasm have shaped the game into what it is today. Seeing the positive reviews and reading about your experiences building your dream hobby stores has been incredibly rewarding for our entire team.

To celebrate this milestone, please check out our official 1.0 launch trailer:

What's New in Version 1.0

This update brings significant additions to the game, from a brand-new miniature license to highly requested customization options. Here are the full patch notes:

New Content

  • Added the new Tech Wars Battle licence, introducing two new armies: Aliens and Federals, along with 34 new figurines to collect.

  • Added 10 new levels, raising the maximum level cap to 50.

  • Added banner furniture.

  • Added a wide range of new products and furniture associated with the new licence and armies, including:

    • Army Displays & Giant figurines

    • Posters, Books, Novels, and Dice

    • Figurine packs & Decor Boxes

    • Assembly and Painting Tools

Gameplay, Interaction & Quality of Life

  • Store Customization: You can now change the floor and wall appearance of your shop using rolls available in the reserve.

  • You can now check your global statistics in the reserve menu (note: this is not retroactive).

  • You can now place the market store terminal directly in the reserve.

  • You can now place empty boxes on reserve shelves.

  • Empty boxes will now dynamically change shape when filled with products to match their contents.

  • Improved customer flow: Customers no longer all leave the shop at the exact same moment.

  • Employees now spawn closer to the shop for better efficiency.

  • Improved squad selection in the Wargame menu and squad creation mechanics.

  • Improved the auto-save system.

World, Visuals & Audio

  • Added new sound effects and new visual effects in the Wargame and when opening packs.

  • The sky is now appropriately darker during nighttime.

  • Added realistic polystyrene details in the furniture boxes.

  • Polished User Interfaces across the board.

Bug Fixes & Polish

  • Fixed incorrect display of the next piece when opening figurine boxes.

  • Fixed texture issues on "Ravenna, Mother of Madness".

  • Various other minor bug fixes and optimizations.

Looking to the Future

As we cross this 1.0 milestone, we want to let you know about the future of the game. Rest assured, we are keeping a dedicated team on Tabletop Game Shop Simulator to ensure the game continues to be improved and supported.

Alongside this ongoing support, the rest of our team here at Knight Fever Games has begun development on an entirely new adventure. We are staying true to our management roots but changing the scenery: our next project is a shop simulator set in a rich medieval world, called Blooming in Budbury.

We are so excited for you to dive into this new update, customize your stores, and start collecting those Tech Wars Battle miniatures. Thank you again, deeply and sincerely, for playing our game and being such a fantastic community.

Have fun, and happy selling!
