Patch Demo 1.5.4

Project: Doors · published 6 Jul 2026, 15:24 UTC

All eventsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

ENEMIES:

  • Enemies with dash attack should no longer teleport back to their dash start position

  • Ghost should now spawn as expected, leaning against a wall — not inside a wall, not a meter away from it

  • Ghost should now be scannable

  • Wendigo should no longer wander into places he isn't supposed to (and just scream when players pass)

  • Yuppie now properly does not attack emoting players (now it's an intended feature instead of a bug-turned-feature)

  • Enemies should no longer get stuck inside unopenable doors in the hotel

  • Zombies called by another zombie should no longer call for additional zombies, preventing a cascade of the entire zombie population aggroing onto a single player

ITEMS:

  • Grav Sphere, Door Handle, and Button now obey the 'Chance to not consume item charge' artifact effect

  • Brain Quest and Wedding Quest item rewards are now sellable and award 20 XP on sale

  • Flashlight Mk2 (handheld and head-worn): increased max charge

  • Using the Door Handle should no longer break the next expedition until the player fully restarts the game (locked start door bug should be gone)

PLAYER:

  • Another iteration on player in-air handling

  • Player's visibility gradually decreases to 60% when crouching and increases to 120% when running (effectively decreasing/increasing enemy detection range)

  • When uncrouching, players should no longer clip into ceilings (especially when rotated due to gravity change)

  • Dance sync distance increased (4m -> 8m)

  • If the dance lead stops dancing, the music will transfer to the next person instead of stopping completely

  • Fixed footstep sounds not working when players are rotated upside down

  • When dropping items from inventory, items should now be consistently rotated according to player view in all rooms; flashlights should always be dropped facing away from the player

  • Fixed being unable to revive players who died in pits or died falling into the upper half of rooftops

LOCATIONS:

  • Fixed an invisible wall in one particular hotel floor 1 corridor that made it impossible to pick up items from a particular armchair

  • Fixed two doors in the hotel floor 2 corridor facing the wrong way

  • Fixed multiple OOB locations in the hotel (players teleported from the Backrooms should no longer end up out of bounds)

  • Fixed couch and armchair colliders being smaller than their visuals, which was camouflaging keys and other small items inside the cushions

  • Added a new interaction to a moon in the bunker parkour course

  • Some doors may now disappear completely if there's no room on the other side (doors in Dunes, Green Maze, Zombie City)

  • Rooftop satellite FX should now properly resume when re-entering the rooftops

UI:

  • Steam chat filtering is now implemented for lobby names and lobby chat. If you have the slur and profanity filter enabled in your Steam account, slurs and profanities should be censored in lobby names and chats from other players

  • Fixed tooltip missing when hovering over rewards on the reward screen

  • Added a speedrun-focused widget (top-right widget, toggleable in the game settings menu)

  • XP reward amounts in notifications are now rounded (no more +4.912351 XP)

  • Removed the 'starting funds' field from test settings, as it no longer worked

  • Added 'forfeit previous expedition bonus' to test settings

  • Voice chat debug info is now displayed in the cheats menu in-game

ARTIFACTS:

  • Fixed 'Chance to not consume item charge' effect not working properly

  • 'Chance to not consume item charge' effect now works with Grav Sphere, Door Handle, and Sus Button

  • Fixed '-cloning cost' effect increasing cloning cost instead of decreasing it

  • Random artifacts now display their serial number in their name

  • If a player completed the tutorial but is missing the tutorial flag, the flag will now be added to their inventory at game start

Community3 Sep 2026❄️ Location Teaser: Everyone Left This TownHey, Employees! Last time we asked you to guess where our locations came from, and we promised answers. Here they are: Shot 1 – Dust. Most of you had it in about four seconds. Shot 3 – Twin Peaks. The curtains did all the work. Shot 4 – Haruhi Suzumiya. Opening doors is sort of her thing. Shots 2 and 5 – not references at all. One is a submarine interior, the other is wind turbines in the ocean…Community28 Aug 2026🚪 Guess Where These Doors LeadHey, Employees! The Labyrinth doesn't build its worlds from scratch. It borrows them. It drags in pieces of other realities, chews them up, and spits out something that feels familiar and deeply wrong at the same time. Below are screenshots from locations we're building right now. Every single one is a nod to something that already exists out there. Some references are loud and you'll catch the…Community20 Aug 2026🚪 Turkish Doors community, we need YOU!Hello, Employees! Our Turkish community keeps growing, and it's time the Labyrinth spoke your language too. We invite Turkish-speaking players to join us and help translate the game into Turkish.
