Hello, Plant Managers!
Now that we’ve finished fixing the major bugs, we’ll be moving on to feature development and balance adjustments as we go.
Today, we’re unveiling the first patch in this series.
This feature allows you to warp to a specified plot of land from the map screen.
It is assigned to the F key by default.
You can open the map screen using the M key (default) or the corresponding button, and activate the feature by hovering the cursor over a plot of land you own.
The official assets for the “Lucifer” and “Mammon” company emblems, as well as business cards for all three characters—including “Gehenna”—have been completed.
These luxurious business cards will be displayed on the Connections screen in your office.
(*They will be displayed in English regardless of the selected language.)
Your company emblem will gradually begin appearing in various locations throughout the game. Be sure to look for them!
Although it’s only been a few days since launch, thanks to the cooperation of many players, we’ve been able to collect a sufficient amount of data from Special Mission Hell 1 and Factory Development Hell 3. Thank you!
Using this statistical data, we have made adjustments to several options where issues had already been identified.
By adding risk to Contracts that are overwhelmingly powerful and adding rewards to Contracts that lack power, we aim to balance risk and reward, creating room for players to weigh their options and decide whether to use a Contract on each run.
This contract currently provides sufficient benefits with lower risk than the rare contract “Infrastructure Investment.”
We will address this by increasing the unique risk associated with this contract.
Number of “fixed costs” applied per negative resource: x100 -> x200
Currently, this is the contract with the highest win rate among all Uncommon Contracts; it is an overwhelmingly powerful option where the number of times it is obtained directly correlates with the win rate, regardless of the sponsor combination.
It increases the risk while maintaining its core identity of “raw material conservation” and “synergy with all crafting-type familiars.”
Number of “Environmental Pollution” applied: 10 → 15
In the 0.23.0 meta, two-thirds of Leviathan’s Uncommon Contracts are assigned the effect “Increased production output through massive resource consumption.”
However, since these contracts significantly increase the difficulty of resource management, they undermine Leviathan’s identity as a character that is beginner-friendly due to its low line-building burden.
We will make adjustments to alleviate this situation and ensure the character is appropriate for the “Difficulty: Low” rating.
We will adjust the settings to allow players to control the input cost while maintaining the contract’s core identity of “accelerating production speed by investing additional resources.”
New Effect
Added recipe for Distilled Slime: 300 Chemicals -> Venom 5 (60 seconds)
Obtained: Distilled Slime x1
The “Aqua Regia Administration Test” will no longer stack, leaving “Multi-Brain Test” as the sole factor contributing to infinite scaling.
As a result, there is now room to increase the power of “Tear” itself, so we are strengthening it.
“Chemical Reaction” Production Count x2 -> x5
We have removed this contract since its effects no longer overlap with those of the “Aqua Regia Administration Test.”
Note that the “Deadly Toxin” buff may still appear in orders.
This provides a new method for converting resources other than chemicals into chemicals.
Effect: Obtain 3 “Buried Promissory Note” buffs.
When you purchase a “Buried Bill” land, consume one count of this buff to obtain 50% of the resources you paid in the form of chemicals.
The mechanics follow those of the “Short Sale Bill” buff and do not apply to purchases made with free land vouchers.
We are adding a contract that synergizes with Leviathan’s core strategy of “high volume, low margin” and supports the strategies of all sponsors.
Effect: For 90 seconds, each time you sell an item priced at 1 cash or more, you gain 20 units of each resource corresponding to the current development sponsor.
Example: When using Lucifer, Satan, and Leviathan, you will gain “Building Materials / Fuel / Chemicals.”
The effect is applied in the form of the “Foreign Matter Contamination” buff.
The “Foreign Matter Contamination” buff will also appear in orders.
Since the benefits of “Indulgence” are difficult to appreciate except in the very early stages of the game, we will adjust it to ensure it remains an enjoyable effect throughout the game by improving its feedback.
New Effect: Each time you repay a debt, increase the number of this relic you possess by 10% and receive one luxury item equal to your total number of relics.
The “Labor Dispatch” build has become relatively less viable because the transportation bottleneck that occurred when deploying large numbers of familiars onto the map has been resolved more easily.
We will enhance the rewards so that players can aim for victory in various ways depending on the situation.
Cash reward trigger interval: Once every 5 seconds → Once every 4 seconds
While these missions offer fresh gameplay in unique situations, many also serve as “training grounds for sponsor-specific playstyles”.
We will be adjusting the roles to ensure each mission offers a moderately challenging difficulty level, while also allowing players to naturally improve their gameplay skills as they complete them.
When using the “Customer Support Center” strategy, the clear time is 5–6 minutes faster than the average for all missions, making it an exceptionally easy mission. On the other hand, clearing the mission using the “Hell Remodeling Theory” appears to be more difficult than anticipated.
Our goal is to keep the exhilarating gameplay experience—which comes after understanding Mammon’s playstyle—while bringing the completion time within a more reasonable range.
Initial Contract
Abolish “Hell Remodeling Theory” and use only “Customer Support Center”
Initial Resources
“Indulgences” x500 -> Removed
“Subleasing” x300 -> x240
This mission requires players to skillfully utilize various systems and is currently the most difficult of the missions unlocked at the start of the game.
We will slightly ease the difficulty while also implementing adjustments to help players better understand “Chemical Reactions.”
Initial Contracts Added
“Aqua Regia Administration Test”
Initial Resources Added
Chemical Reactions x 100
This is the most challenging mission of all, as it requires flexible decision-making based on orders and contracts. However, it has also been found that once you get the hang of it, this mission is relatively easy to complete.
In this adjustment, we’re easing the difficulty to emphasize that this mission is a test of your ability to adapt on the fly.
Initial Resource Changes
Added -> Re-Roll Rights x 3
Added an “Encyclopedia” button to the Key Configuration (in preparation for future updates)
Fixed a bug where the familiar obtained from the “Witch's Hat” relic was displayed as a Distilled Slime (Summoner Witch is correct)
A bug where the transport speed bonus from the relic “President’s Surveillance” was applied after the speed reduction from “Environmental Pollution”
Items would still move even when Environmental Pollution was at 100 or higher if “President’s Surveillance” was active.
A bug where the message “You do not own this land” would appear when a click bypassed the land ownership check under specific conditions
A bug where an error might occur if a staff skill cast was canceled by a screen transition
Fixes for minor inconsistencies in text, etc.
