Hello everyone 🖤

Another Early Access update is ready.

Version 0.4.7, release date 28.08.2026, introduces the community-designed Desert Princess Armor Set and the new Obsidian Temptation lingerie set, alongside a broad pass on armor fidelity, inventory quality of life, performance, and the underlying systems for Controller Support.

Controller work continued to receive a significant share of our attention during this development cycle. At the same time, we kept running into several issues that had been bothering both us and many of you. Rather than leave those problems behind, we used this build to address them alongside the new equipment.

Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Desert Princess Armor Set

The Desert Princess Armor Set is now available as a new high-tier equipment set.

The original concept was created by Hero4Rent, and we are very happy to bring another community-designed armor into the game.

Like the Armor of Leoni, the Desert Princess set is weighted toward the high-level loot found in the Slave Market and can drop from latest tier enemies and chests.

The set was also designed to work in more than one setting. By removing the shoulder and waist pieces, it can easily be worn as a lighter palace costume, giving you more freedom to use it for character styling, companion outfits, Pose Mode, and screenshots.

Thanks to Hero4Rent for the design and for helping us expand the game’s growing collection of community-created equipment.

Obsidian Temptation

The Obsidian Temptation lingerie set has been added to Lucieta’s stock and can be purchased with Emeralds.

It arrives with a new selection of suitably tempting vendor preview cards, giving Lucieta’s shop a more polished presentation while adding another option for character customization, outfit combinations, Pose Mode, and screenshots.

Polish, Performance & Controller Work

A large number of existing armor sets received technical and visual attention in this update.

We revisited clipping, weights, morph targets, cloth behavior, materials, and texture fidelity across many pieces, with the broader goal of making equipment behave more reliably across different body shapes, animations, and movement. We also corrected the material-swapping issue affecting the Armor of Leoni and optimized several cloth and hair elements that were creating unnecessary performance costs.

Inventory and vendor interactions have received another round of improvements as well.

Items can now be sold more quickly with CTRL + Right Click without a confirmation prompt, while Quick Transfer makes it easier to move equipment and consumables directly between active characters. Purchases should now consistently go to the character currently selected at the vendor, and consumables interact more reliably with Quick Slots.

Compatible Special Attack selections are now preserved when changing to another weapon that supports the same attack. We have also cleaned up several input conflicts involving the Pause Menu, World Map, companion selection, and Inventory.

Although Controller Support is not ready to be presented as complete, we devoted roughly a week of this development cycle to the systems behind it.

Inventory navigation is now considerably more context-aware, with the available actions changing according to the item or interface element currently in focus. Quick Transfer works with both gamepad and mouse and keyboard, equipment show/hide and item drop controls are functional, and the interface remembers its previous focus more reliably when switching between input methods.

Character targeting, remote inventories, filtering, equipment actions, and several menu interactions have also received further work. This is still foundational development rather than a finished controller experience, but it represents a meaningful step forward and gives us a stronger base for the remaining screens and interactions.

Looking Ahead

Before returning to Controller Support as our main technical focus, we want to address the recurring hitching inside the Palace, which we believe we have traced to the underlying cause, as well as adjust decoration outlines so they only appear while decorating.

Once those are in place, we will continue pushing Controller Support forward, with our current target being a much more complete state around the end of September. This remains an estimate and will depend on testing.

After Controller Support, we plan to turn our attention to Modding Support and Steam Achievements, two features we know many of you have been waiting for.

Thank you for your continued support, feedback, screenshots, bug reports, and community designs. We hope you enjoy the Desert Princess, Obsidian Temptation, and the latest round of improvements.

🖤
The Team ⚔️
