Hello everyone 🖤
Another Early Access update is almost here.
Version 0.4.8, releasing on 11.09.2026, introduces the new Hidden Treasure Lingerie Set, major improvements to Companion Behavior, further progress on Controller Support, and another round of fixes and polish across equipment, inventory, progression, and UI systems.
Our original plan was to spend most of this development cycle on Controller Support. However, companion behavior has been one of the most common concerns in recent feedback, so we decided to dedicate roughly half of our time to improving it now rather than postponing it.
Let’s take a look.
The new Hidden Treasure Lingerie Set joins the game in 0.4.8, adding another option for character customization, companions, Pose Mode, and screenshots.
We have also continued improving existing equipment. The Desert Princess set received additional clipping fixes, the Armor of Leoni shoulder piece now behaves correctly in Pose Mode and the companion selection screen, and the new Scorpion Warrior Belt has been added to the appropriate enemy and chest loot pools.
Several other pieces also received updates to geometry, weights, morph targets, textures, and cloth behavior.
Companions can now be configured individually from the Inventory screen.
You can choose between Passive, Defensive, and Aggressive behavior, while also adjusting each companion’s follow distance and attack distance.
We also improved how companions move and respond to commands. They should reposition less unnecessarily while following, match the player’s movement more naturally at close range, and remain stopped when ordered to stop.
Combat reactions have also been refined. Companions can now respond when the player or another companion is attacked, while Passive companions will avoid engaging enemies on their own.
The active command for each companion is now shown on their HUD card, making party behavior easier to read at a glance.
These changes also required broader work on the animation systems shared by the player, companions, and enemies, giving us a better foundation for future combat and animation improvements.
Controller Support continues to move forward alongside the companion changes.
Inventory sorting is now available with a gamepad, and the new companion configuration controls can also be fully adjusted without switching back to mouse and keyboard.
We have continued improving inventory navigation, focus handling, equipment actions, and menu interaction as well.
0.4.8 includes several important fixes to inventory and progression systems. Also fixes an issue that could make the left side of certain interfaces unclickable, affecting areas such as Lucieta’s filters, the Carpenter UI, vendors, and chests.
We also resolved an issue where invisible UI widgets could accumulate during long play sessions and gradually increase memory usage.
Companion save data now updates correctly after item transfers, preventing potential item duplication or loss. Quick Transfer also performs proper equipment validation, avoiding invalid loadouts such as leaving a quiver equipped after transferring away a bow.
A new Refresh All Item Data option has been added under Pause Menu > Options > Game, allowing older items in existing saves to be updated using their latest item data.
The XP curve has also been adjusted. Levels 1–25 remain close to the previous progression, while leveling beyond 25 now requires more experience.
Replay Emerald rewards have also been increased for Basilica Cistern, Yedikule, and Rumeli.
Our current goal is now to have full Controller Support ready around the middle of October, ideally in time for Concubine’s Early Access anniversary.
For the rest of October, we plan to make further improvements to combat and prepare a Halloween update featuring a themed base, pose, costume, and decoration.
We currently expect November to focus heavily on combat and animation improvements, with Steam Achievements planned toward the end of the month.
We also want to briefly mention Modding Support, which we discussed in our previous update. It is still planned, but like Controller Support, it requires substantial structural work. For that reason, we have decided to push it a little further back while we focus on combat, animation, and Steam Achievements first.
As always, these are development targets rather than fixed promises. Early Access feedback can change our priorities, and we will continue adjusting the roadmap when something clearly needs attention sooner.
Thank you for your continued support, feedback, screenshots, and bug reports.
We hope you enjoy Hidden Treasure Set, the new Companion Behavior options, and the latest improvements in 0.4.8.
