Or rather… to escape.The Tarot SpreadTarot, like regular playing cards, has 4 suits: Pentacles (also known as Diamonds), Cups (also known as Hearts), Swords (also known as Spades), and Wands (also known as Clubs).You'll need to assemble your personality across 3 facets in a Solitaire-like game where both luck and strategy matter.Depending on which facets came together, you'll get a puzzle for reading yourself a forecast from 3 Tarot cards. You get 3 attempts as well.Arrival at the BallYou managed to slip away from the doctor to reach the ball hosted by your bel… by Klara Olsufyevna at the Berendeev mansion. A masquerade ball in the Venetian style, with suspiciously realistic masks and unsuspiciously suspicious characters.Is it all that simple? Not at all!An engaging Reigns-style mechanic awaits you, where you need to balance between 4 powers: Light, Rank, Clergy, and… Shadow. You can't afford to drop anyone's respect, and you also can't afford to draw too much attention to yourself!Use the items you found in the apartment to "disarm" the powers.And, I hope you haven't spent all your Tarot? Heh.Escape from the Ball and 21 + Tarot, but… with the Minor Arcana!You've finally managed to meet the Double. But the meeting is short, because… you've run into the croupier again.Now, at the start of each round, you draw a Minor and a Major Arcana. The first works as before, while the second either ruins the entire hand or… helps you beat even the Death card!The game features music by Franz Schubert and Frédéric Chopin.This is the second of four Chapters planned for the game.
