Weapon mod slots — new reward type
Rewards can now upgrade a specific weapon rather than your ship. Each weapon has three mod slots, and a mod levels up in place without a cap: FIRE RATE (+10% per level), PROJECTILE SPEED (+15%), and DAMAGE. If more than one weapon is eligible you get an UPGRADE WHICH WEAPON screen.
How many levels a card pays is its rarity — a gold SPEED card can pay +3, while DAMAGE and FIRE RATE start at +1. The card face tells you what it pays. Mod cards also show up in the HEAT bonus and boss racks.
Bowl atmosphere
- Spore motes drift off the monument collars, through the open air of the arena, and along the curved rim wall.
Netcode
- Dropped players were told nothing at all. You now get told, and reconnecting works instead of silently failing.
- Holding Enter no longer sends blank chat lines under your name.
Fixes
- Decal borders showed a visible ring on AMD cards.
- Crash reporting: two ways a crash could lose its own dump mid-write.
- The run summary described only one pilot and called it the whole run. It now covers the team.
What to test
- Take mod cards when they appear. Is it clear which weapon got upgraded, and can you feel the difference after two or three levels in one channel?
- Do mod cards read clearly next to the normal reward cards, or get lost among them?
- Bowl atmosphere — do the drifting motes look right, or is it too busy / too sparse now?
