First off, a huge thank you to all of you who have wishlisted the game and supported the project so far. Seeing your interest in this project is a huge motivation for me! I've also received several collaboration and especially localization inquiries since the day the Steam page launched. I very much appreciate your trust and interest, and if the game performs well, adding more localizations is high on my priority list post-launch!
The Game Breaker demo will launch on Tuesday, August 4th, at 2 PM UTC - exactly one week from now! You'll be able to experience the first few hours of the story, the characters, and a world where not everything is as it seems. It'll feature several cheats to play around with and also has lots of secrets to discover. The demo will be available for Windows. Note: This demo will only be available for a limited time. Make sure to download and try it out while it's live so you don't miss out!
Thanks to all the feedback and direct messages on the initial reveal, I've been busy polishing the overall look of the game!
In particular, the water got a major visual upgrade, using multiple new shaders to make it look and feel far more lively!
Also, based on community feedback, player run animations have been added! The main character now changes to a unique animation when running, making movement feel much smoother. Some trailer clips have been adjusted to match the new animations.
Adding these animations was quite time-consuming as the played character has multiple outfits featuring multiple emotions throughout the game, demanding 4 new animations for each emotion and outfit, but it was totally worth it and makes a huge difference in how the game feels!
About half of the screenshots on the Steam store page have been updated. You can check out the updated store page here.
Join the Game Breaker Discord server so you don't miss any future updates!
I'll share another update as soon as the demo goes live.
Going forward, you can expect regular monthly development updates!
Thank you again for all the support, and stay tuned for the demo next week!
