Witherspring Wilds · published · build 24204147
This is another quality of life update with many smaller improvements, but it also finishes the functionality of shelves and the market quest. NPCs will now buy items from your shelves if they want to (so you can set up a little shop), and once you complete the market quest, NPCs will begin selling their own items to you and other NPCs.
After this update, I plan to start on Dungeons, which are a pretty exciting (and sometimes dangerous) part of the game. I hope you're looking forward to that.
NPCs will now buy items from shelves
Added a market quest, after setting up a market, npcs will sell items in shelves
Riley and Iris will now plant a variety of crops, not just their most valuable.
In tend job quests, you can now choose a seed to prioritize planting (otherwise, it'll do a weighted variety like they do for themselves).
Added health bars to enemies (can be hidden in options menu)
Added the ability to release familiars
Torches can now be used with spacebar to light things on fire. They no longer stay lit when thrown on the ground during rain.
When a crafting window re-opens, it will auto-add the exact same items so you can quickly repeat the same craft if possible (even if the auto-add option is off).
Can now place openings on houses if you are inside them. You were never truly trapped as you can teleport out, but this will make it feel less trapped.
Bookshelves can now have notes written in them.
Removed friendly fire - pets will no longer accidentally hurt you, and you can't accidentally hurt pets. This also makes it so you can't hurt npcs, and they can't hurt you.
Adrian and Chester will now come to your aid if they see you getting attacked.
Antidote effect can now exist alongside other effects (excluding poison), so you can stop poison removing your existing effect.
You now have to drag to remove rugs, fences and bridges - so you don't accidentally make holes in them while trying to interact with something else
Finally, here's a little teaser of the dungeons:
