v0.7.4 is a stability, balance, and preparation update for the upcoming Contest raid launch. This patch focuses heavily on closing exploits, improving late-game pacing, cleaning up confusing systems, and getting the game ready for Friday’s Contest premiere.
- Added The Splintered Seal, a new mythic raid unlocked after clearing The Starless Throne.
- Added upcoming Contest Mode support for The Splintered Seal.
- Contest begins automatically on Friday, September 4 at 6:00 PM CDT.
- Contest lasts for 21 days.
- Week 1 clears earn an additional First Oath banner stamp.
- Added new Contest cosmetic rewards

- Mythic+ frontier clears now advance only one key level at a time.
- Mythic+ key progression is clearer and currently caps at Key 20.
- Combat Power now weights stats differently by role:
Tanks no longer gain inflated PWR from defense/HP.
DPS value attack more heavily.
Healers value healing more heavily.
- Legendary and Exotic subclass bonuses were toned down so chase recruits stay exciting without becoming wildly overpowered.
- Provision costs now scale by mission type:
Encounters use base provision costs.
Dungeons cost more.
Raids cost the most.
- Guild Events now use weighted mission progress instead of raw mission count:
Encounters add a small amount.
Dungeons add more.
Raids add the most.
- A cooldown also prevents short-mission event farming.
- Fixed refined gear keeping boosted stats while losing refine count after equip/unequip.
- Hiring a recruit no longer resets the paid reroll cost ramp.
- Recruitment reroll costs now slowly cool down over real time instead of being permanently punishing.
- Guild Events can no longer be rapidly farmed by repeating short missions.
- Guild Market shipments and weekly stall items remain one-per-week and are no longer an infinite supply faucet.
- Added clearer explanations for:
recruit stars
passive subclasses
Mythic/Exotic path tags
skill points
gear identities
refining
raid party size
provisions
market limits
raid intel
- Recruitment now better explains candidate quality, subclasses, traits, and rare trainable paths.
- Skill tree text now explains that members earn 5 base skill points at levels 2/4/6/8/10.
- Loot and gear explanations now better describe role-weighted power and off-role gear behavior.
- Guild Chronicle now shows Guild Event decision progress instead of only raw clear count.
- Loot inspector keeps Sell / Salvage / Refine actions pinned while scrolling item details.
- Expedition reports now repeat the mission shown on the report, even if another team launched afterward.
- Fixed expedition repeat targeting the wrong mission in some cases.
- Fixed refined item data not being preserved correctly through equipment changes.
- Fixed members receiving an extra unspendable skill point.
- Fixed several confusing or outdated Codex explanations.
Thank you to everyone testing, breaking things, and sending feedback. v0.7.4 is a big cleanup step before Contest goes live. Good luck in The Splintered Seal.
