TRAFFIC RIVALS IS GOING FREE TO PLAY
Hello, Rivals!
We have made an important decision about the future of Traffic Rivals: 1v1 Duels. The game will be transitioning to a free-to-play model.
This change has one clear goal: to bring more drivers onto the highway. Traffic Rivals is built around fast and competitive 1v1 races, and a larger community means faster matchmaking, more varied opponents, and a healthier long-term future for the game.
WHAT WILL BE FREE?
Once the transition is complete, everyone will be able to download and play Traffic Rivals for free.
Players will have access to:
Online 1v1 Duels
Private races with friends
Practice races against AI
Drift Mode
Car upgrades and customization
Steam Inventory and item drops
Steering wheel, pedal, shifter, and handbrake support
WHAT HAPPENS TO EXISTING PLAYERS?
If you already own Traffic Rivals, you will keep full access to the game. Your progress, cars, currency, Steam Inventory items, and other earned content will remain intact. You will not need to take any action.
As a special thank-you, every player who purchased and supported Traffic Rivals before the free-to-play transition will receive exclusive gift cases. More details about their contents and distribution date will be announced before the transition.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported Traffic Rivals during Early Access. Your support and feedback helped us continue developing the game and made major updates like REBORN possible.
WHEN WILL IT BECOME FREE TO PLAY?
We are currently working with Steam to complete the transition. We will announce the exact free-to-play launch date as soon as it is confirmed.
Traffic Rivals will remain in Early Access, and we will continue improving the driving experience, controls, matchmaking, balance, and overall quality of the game.
This is the beginning of a new chapter for Traffic Rivals.
