Stalkers!
The weather station is issuing a warning: following the scorching heat, abnormally cold weather is coming to the Zone. It might seem unusual for a normal summer, but seasoned stalkers are well aware of what they'll be enduring.
To the surprise of all experienced Zone researchers, increased anomalous activity has been observed this year. Local emissions – anomalous bursts that spread over a small area – are formed everywhere with regular frequency. Rumor has it that by breaking through the scorching heat, one can find quite good loot. However, there are plenty of those eager to score valuables – all stalkers in the vicinity will be notified of the appearance of such eruptions.
Bright minds have also organized several expeditions to study the ice craters that have appeared throughout the Zone. It seems that the equipment placed by the scientists is only provoking aggression from the mutants, who are launching daily attacks. The researchers are ready to reward all volunteers for protecting the equipment.
And don't forget about the shimmering spheres of cold – unusual anomalies where you can spot artifacts gleaming bright blue. You won't be able to retrieve such a find with a regular MGD...
From 14.07.26 to 18.08.26, the "Cool Heat" event will start on all project servers!
Note: the event will begin on 14.07, along with the server restart.
As part of the seasonal event, new anomalies have appeared in locations, from which you can obtain parts of a mysterious artifact. The extraction device can be obtained from the "Anomaly Researcher" NPC, who are located in:
– Gourmet village (Liubech Outskirts, square E6-3)
– Radio Tower (Vesuvius, square E2-1)
– Konukovo Airport (Airport, square C2-4)
– Radius village (Tunguska, square C2-3)
– Port (New Land, Northern Island, square B4-3)
You can also receive valuable rewards for ice finds from them!
In addition, seasonal artifacts can be obtained by participating in open-world events.
