Week Two: Smarter Parties, New Conjuration, and a Demo on the Way
Week two has been enormous. The Loomsong Chronicle Idle has moved from launch fixes into major new systems, deeper party behavior, and the foundations of its next expansion. The game now stands at Build 0.752.
Here is the very short version of what was accomplished:
- **The party became dramatically smarter.** Movement, formations, role behavior, work sharing, hunting, revival, reserves, solo parties, pet and summon following, enemy steering, unexplored-area selection, congestion recovery, and expedition stability all received major improvements.
- **Combat, loot, storage, and the Workshop were rebuilt and refined.** Bosses and hunts were rebalanced, expedition loot was corrected, consumables can stack cleanly, enchanting and disenchanting gained direct item handling, storage sorting became genuinely useful, and save/load reliability was strengthened.
- **A ninth playable race and Conjuration arrived.** The Tavrani joined the roster alongside Tomes, Blood Orbs, new Traits and Masteries, summon-focused equipment, and fully animated Fire, Frost, and Lightning Elementals that move and fight beside their caster.
- **Player Town began to open.** Seven recurring characters can now be discovered naturally in expeditions. Allan Grail's Barracks and June Dultche's Card Master introduce recruit upgrades, timed projects, and progression resets.
- **The existing worlds received a major pass.** Roaming enemy groups and Guardian platforms were repaired, Greenveil's great causeway gained encounters and treasure, Glassmoon gained dry craters and connected roads, Cradle Drift and Asterhome received grounded farmland, and expedition and Pinnacle presentation was polished.
## The Demo Is Coming
The Loomsong Chronicle Idle Demo has been submitted to Valve for review. It will include the complete opening progression through level 25, and it uses the same campaign format as the full game. If you continue into the full game, your existing demo campaign unlocks without conversion or a restart.
We will announce availability as soon as Valve approves it.
## Ten-Day Discount Begins soon
Starting **September 17, 2026**, The Loomsong Chronicle Idle will be discounted for **10 days**. If you have been waiting to build your party and enter the lost worlds, this is a good time to begin.
Thank you to everyone reporting problems, sharing saves and logs, challenging weak systems, and helping turn a strange little party RPG into something much larger. Week three starts now.
