Build 0.750 Patch Notes
This update includes all improvements completed during Builds 0.749 and 0.750.
Movement, Exploration, and Cameras
- Improved movement for party members, summons, pets, enemies, and wildlife.
- Reduced body blocking, spinning, scooting, rapid direction changes, and repeated stop-start movement.
- Party members now use more consistent right-of-way behavior when crossing paths or moving through narrow passages.
- Fixed followers trying to move around a stopped leader instead of waiting for the route to clear.
- Improved regrouping after combat, gathering, reviving, looting, resting, and other expedition activities.
- Idle companions now remain connected to the current activity instead of returning to obsolete formation anchors.
- Ranged fighters and hunters are less likely to abandon a valid firing position to chase another nearly identical position.
- Improved enemy and wildlife movement through crowded areas without weakening terrain or scenery collision.
- Improved pet loitering, final loot-bag approach, and movement around mobile actors.
- Exploration now gives better consideration to reachable unexplored territory and is less likely to repeatedly backtrack across cleared areas.
- Corrected the camera profile used in all four currently available Pinnacle arenas.
Summons
- Summons now share the party’s established combat awareness instead of relying on a much smaller independent detection radius.
- Fire, Frost, and Lightning Elementals now reliably join fights started by ranged Tome users.
- Future melee summons can pursue enemies engaged by their owner, attack, and return after combat.
- Summons will not independently aggro unrelated enemy packs.
- Ranged summons now reposition when scenery blocks their projectile instead of firing through the obstruction or remaining idle.
- Summon damage, health, attack cadence, cooldowns, movement speed, and elemental identities were not changed.
Player Town
- Establishing Allan Grail’s Barracks now costs:
- 500 aurels
- 10 Greenveil Iron Ingots
- 10 Rainwood Timber
- Establishing June Dultche’s Card Master now costs:
- 500 aurels
- 10 Maintenance Alloy Ingots
- 10 Cradlewire
- Establishment materials can be paid from Shared Inventory and Town Stash together.
- Services unlocked before this update remain unlocked and are not charged retroactively.
- College and Gym projects now require 10 active-play minutes for every purchased rank.
- Multi-rank projects correctly accumulate their duration: four ranks now take 40 minutes instead of completing after only 10.
- Recruit cards retain their starting abilities and ability levels while attribute and proficiency bonuses are now shown in a cleaner hover tooltip.
- Removed unnecessary messages for recruits with no Trait or Skill Mastery cards.
Guardians
- The fixed progression Guardian in every expedition now appears on its authored Guardian platform.
- Existing open expeditions migrate automatically without closing the expedition or resetting progress.
- Active and defeated Guardians retain their proper combat and completion state.
- Random roaming packs still independently retain their existing chances to become a Boss or Guardian pack.
- Guardian rewards, Pinnacle-key chances, levels, combat strength, and reinforcement counts remain unchanged.
Inventory and Town Stash
- Rebuilt Sort behavior across Party Management, High Anchorage Stash, Outfitters, and the Workshop.
- Weapons now group by exact weapon family.
- Off-hands now group as shields, quivers, focuses, and Blood Orbs.
- Armor now groups by equipment slot and then by Light, Medium, or Heavy class.
- Tools, runes, pets, consumables, materials, keys, and junk now form distinct groups.
- Ability Books, Woven Ability Books, Attribute Books, Lore Books, Proficiency Volumes, and Expedition Contracts now remain in separate blocks.
- Added the missing Sort Shared command to the High Anchorage Stash.
- Fixed sorted inventory positions updating internally while the visible grid continued showing the old arrangement.
- Fixed successful inventory actions failing to refresh correctly when a background save was already running.
- Workshop selections now remain attached to the exact selected item when storage is sorted.
- Sorting does not reroll, recreate, replace, or delete items.
Pets
- Installed complete new idle, walking, and loot-pickup animations for Tumbler, Ledger, the Light-Leather Shepherd, and the Light-Leather Spotted Cat.
- Pet animation textures are now prepared during the expedition loading screen.
- Reduced the hitch that could occur when an equipped pet first appeared or performed its first pickup.
- Pet identities, names, statistics, movement rules, experience, and loot behavior remain unchanged.
Traits and Skill Masteries
- Slow Metabolism and Load Bearer now have a maximum rank of 20.
- Existing characters above the new cap automatically receive one new nine-card Trait choice for every legitimate excess rank removed.
- Refunds are applied only once and remain attached to the correct character.
- Slow Metabolism migration preserves the character’s current hunger and thirst cycle progress.
- Load Bearer migration preserves all equipped items and their exact rolls.
- Trait Collection and Skill Mastery Collection now display four full-size cards per row.
- Trait and Skill Mastery selection drafts remain three cards per row.
Save Compatibility and Stability
- Existing supported campaigns migrate automatically when loaded.
- Open expeditions, equipment identities, summon states, Guardian progress, Player Town projects, and refunded Trait choices are preserved.
- Improved background-save coordination for inventory and storage actions.
- Additional expedition-loading, Steam Cloud, save/reload, and packaged-game stability repairs are included.
