UPDATE 2 — Readable Fouls, Off-Ball Crime & The Logbook
Both of the big Steam reviews and a pile of Discord reports went straight into this one.
Thank you — keep them coming.
The match is readable now
- Fouls look like fouls, dives look like dives. Distinct contact animations — judge with your eyes, not just the panel.
- Contact actually connects. Pushes, shoves and saves close the distance instead of miming at air.
- Keepers have a save vocabulary — parries, tip-overs, smothers — matched to where the shot actually went.
- Players have personalities. Aggressive players play aggressive. You can smell a foul coming.
Off-ball crime
Incidents now happen away from the ball — shirt tugs and late hits behind your back. Watch the whole pitch like a real ref. (Rare by design — but real.)
Advantage pull-back
Played an advantage that died? Tap SPACE within ~3.5 seconds to bring play back to the original foul. Just like the real thing.
The Logbook
New in the career hub: your full match history and a per-club discipline ledger. Second yellows record properly as 1Y + 1R, and a VAR-rescinded card disappears from the books.
Press that matters
Post-match interview answers now have visible consequences.
Sound
- Contact foley, distance-gated: near the play, you hear the difference between a clean tackle and a dirty one.
- Keeper saves, woodwork off the frame, pull-back chirp, Logbook page-turns and stamps.
HUD & assists
- Score bar in real kit colors.
- Positioning guide — a chevron nudges you toward good positioning when you drift (Settings: On / Auto / Off — Auto shows it in amateur leagues only).
- "SPACE — END THE HALF" pill when the half is done. No more guessing when the whistle is yours.
- Law 8 drop-balls: uncontested drop to the keeper when play stops in the box.
- The ball can no longer balance on the crossbar. (Yes. It happened.)
The game is still developing and there is room for improvement everywhere. Your reviews help shape where it's going.
To ShaBar97 and Fatal, whose reviews shaped this update, and konrad on Discord — thank you.
