Five languages, new display settings, and a wide-screen fix

Five languages

The shop now speaks English, Russian, German, Spanish and French. Every menu, item, recipe, contract and line of the Whispering Skull's dialogue is translated, and the game picks your system language automatically on first launch. You can change it any time in Settings.

An honest note: every language other than English is machine translated and has not yet been reviewed by a native speaker. It has been checked for the things that break a game, missing text, broken formatting, clipped labels, but not for the things only a native ear catches. If something reads wrong, or worse, unintentionally funny, please tell us. We would rather fix it than pretend it is fine.

Audio

Interface sound now has its own volume slider, separate from sound effects. You can silence button clicks without losing footsteps, crafting and the till

Fixes

 • Fixed the billboard and journal panels overlapping on 16:10 and other non-16:9 displays

 • Fixed confirmation buttons reading True and False instead of Yes and No

 • Fixed goods knocked off a shelf sometimes landing behind it

 • Sped up the customer hit reaction and enlarged the impact effect

 • Cleaned up a batch of English typos and punctuation across items, contracts and world events

The shop is prettier, meaner, and considerably more opinionated about how you run it. Customers can turn on you. Most browse politely. Some sweep your stock onto the floor and take a swing at the furniture. Keep the hammer handy, or put a Guard on the payroll. Your furniture breaks . Shelves and racks take real damage now, and somebo…In-game event19 Jul 2026Update 0.1.3 - Journal System & Tutorial ReworkThis update focuses on giving players clearer direction after the tutorial and polishing the experience.
