So, we’ve been fixing some stuff from the previous update while working on the new one!
Here are some of the things we found:
- Back to the Past: The Floor Is Lava card now works as intended and also goes back in time.
- Trash Thief: It now picks a random card from your opponent’s graveyard.
- Easy Anti-Cheat: The game now forces the installation if you don’t have it installed.
and…
- Mouse with high polling rates causing FPS drops: Okay, so let’s talk about this one because it’s important.
We found that this issue is related to Unity, the engine we use for the game. We’ve seen other developers reporting the same issue, but so far, no one has been able to find a proper solution.
We’ve tried everything possible, but it seems to be a mix of hardware and OS-related issues. So, at the moment, we’re still trying to figure it out, just like many other developers.
This means we’re going to keep looking into it as much as we can, but it’s quite tricky because we can’t reproduce the issue on our own systems.
Some people have experienced it and then suddenly seen it disappear, which only adds even more complexity to the problem.
The only thing we’ve found that seems to help is going into your mouse software and lowering the polling rate. Setting it below 1000 Hz shouldn’t cause stuttering.
We know this isn’t the best solution, but if you’re experiencing the issue, you can give it a try while we continue looking for a proper fix.

And yeah, this is the classic stuff that every game developer says, but we’re actually quite excited about the next update. We haven’t done anything quite like it before, so let’s see how it turns out!
