Info on the challenge can be found below the wrap up:

It's been a busy month with our First Floor Challenge. Lots of chatter both on Steam and on our Discord all month about the tough choices and changes this challenge required. It was interesting to see the different priorities folks had - which rooms were the most important to them and why. Some highlights from the month:

Coelocanth posted their safehouse over on our Discord choosing the Triage Clinic, Nano-Scrubber, UHub, and NanoFab.

Alphafox chatted on Discord quite a bit about how the limitations made handling both Wounds and Heat require creative solutions to manage.

Over here on Steam, there was a conversation about priorities with several folks chiming in. Everyone agreed the Nano-Scrubber was a non-negotiable, but from there different priorities were revealed.Halastar said they would build UHub, Counter-intel, and then either Triage or the Simstream Detox. While Zozzero prioritized Field Ops, the Hacking Station, and Simstream Detox.Others combined these two priorities with Earthseaknight wanting Field Ops, UHub, and Detox and EuchreJack saying they'd build the UHub, Triage, and Detox.Thank you all for participating in this challenge over the last month! We enjoyed seeing the discussions and the differing priorities and reasoning behind folks building decisions. As always you can pick up a challenge any time you want to mix up your gameplay a bit and we'd love to hear about it here on Steam or over on Discord.

Once again another huge thank you to our Trese Boosters, whose support allows us to host these challenges and other community events and activities! We will be back with another Community Challenge soon!--------------------

Hello Knights! It's time for another CKF Community Challenge! This time we are asking you to limit how much you build in your safehouse. What rooms are most important to you? Which ones are you totally fine skipping? Are there rooms you will miss, but will still choose to not have?

There is only one requirement for this challenge:

  • You may only build on the first floor of the buildable space your safehouse. You may not build anything on the bottom floor of the safe house.

There are no limitations on what you can build in your 4 buildable rooms, but you only have those 4 slots available.

As always, we want to see and hear about your adventures tackling the challenge so here are some ideas for what we’d love to see:

  • Screenshots of your safehouse along with why you chose the particular rooms

  • How you chose to overcome the challenge of not being able to build some rooms you might normally build

  • Any other creative ways you want to share your experience with this challenge: memes, interpretive dance, gifs, etc

No matter what you choose to share, please share at least one screenshot of your safehouse.Thank you again to our Trese Boosters. Your support lets us run these Community Challenges and other community events. We’ve opened up a discussion post here on Steam in the General Discussion forum for aIl of your posts. If you post in our Discord, head to #first_floor_challenge to join in on the conversation! We look forward to this upcoming month and I'll be back at the end of the challenge with highlights from the community!
