Hello Racers!

Your passion for RENNSPORT is the engine that drives this project. We have spent the last weeks reading your feedback and confronting the reality of where we stand. You have been direct with us, and we appreciate that. In racing, as in development, you cannot fix what you do not acknowledge.

We have learned that reliability is the only currency that matters. Optimism has its place in design, but when it comes to delivery, it has previously led us to make promises we could not keep. We are moving past that phase.

We are working hard to prove our intent through performance. This article is the second step in a new commitment to transparency, of many more to come.

These articles will provide a transparent look at what is coming in the future.

Who RENNSPORT is for

We are building an experience for the disciplined driver. RENNSPORT is for those who value the physics of a car at its limit and the precision of a perfectly executed overtake. We believe that quality is not a marketing buzzword but a non-negotiable technical requirement.

Competition is in our DNA. We will always be racers in our hearts. Whether you are challenging a friend in time trial mode, climbing the ranks in R1 or mastering a classic at Le Mans, our platform is designed to reward precision, consistency, and the pursuit of the perfect lap.

However, a racing community must also have room to grow. We want competitive petrolheads to find depth in single player championships, while ensuring beginners have the tools to hone their skills and feel welcomed in the paddock. RENNSPORT should be a place where any driver can progress from their first lap to their first podium.

The Aesthetics of Performance

Stability of the game is our priority, while at the same time we have many other things in motion (more about that later in this article), our technical artists have been refining the visuals of the game for the next DLC targeted for May. So let’s take a small sneak peek into what they’ve been working on.

We have overhauled our post-processing and lighting to better reflect the visceral reality of the track. Nights are now deeper and more atmospheric. Sunsets carry a more cinematic weight, and refined motion blur adjustments provide a more authentic sense of speed at the limit.

By also improving our colour grading, as well as adding nuanced lens flares, we are moving away from a clinical look toward a more immersive and grounded experience.

You asked us for more variety in your garage, and we listened. In addition to these visual refinements, we are introducing a broad range of new liveries that will be free for all drivers. These designs represent our commitment to the aesthetic of the sport and serve as a thank you for your patience as we navigate this transition.

The first wave of these additions includes:

  • Porsche 911 GT3 R rennsport: Nine official OEM liveries.

  • BMW M2 CSR: Six distinct customer racing liveries.

  • Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II: The Audi Sport Customer Racing livery.

  • Mercedes-AMG GT3 2020: The official reveal livery.

  • Hyundai Elantra N TCR: The customer racing livery.

These additions are the first of many. There are further updates arriving in the targeted May release, and we will provide the full technical breakdown in the upcoming patch notes.

The Roadmap Beyond May

May is our most important goal for the near future, but it is only the first marker on a much longer circuit. We are done with best-case scenario dates. We will only announce specifics when the code is verified. Once the DLC content is in your hands, we will maintain a steady pace of development.

  • Additional Content: Following the release of Endurance Classics Part 1 targeted for May, we will be adding WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Sebring International Raceway, and the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.

  • Summer Update: Targeted for this summer, this will see the introduction of the Hockenheimring Classic, multiple new cars, track mods, and additional features we hope you will enjoy.

  • Autumn Update: We have two updates planned for this autumn, both bringing additional tracks and cars, and more.

  • Winter Update: This is the target for our second major DLC wave.

We will remain disciplined regarding revealing specific details until getting closer to each release. This is a deliberate choice to avoid overpromising and to ensure that the information we share is final.

Rebuilding The Foundation

There is renewed energy within the RENNSPORT team. We have taken full responsibility for the path behind us, and we are now choosing the steady precision of an endurance racer over the noise of short-term hype.

With the plans listed above, and with additional important improvements to the game that you have wished for, we are prioritizing our players' feedback.

Our priority is a stable, high-quality platform that respects your time. We are committed to this journey for the long term, and are grateful to have you with us.

We will provide the specific date for the targeted May update the moment our technical verification is complete.

Thank you for staying on the track with us.
