Launch Update

BRICK - One Block at a Time · published · build 25004117

First patch since launch, all from your feedback. Thank you for the reports.

The Patrol Chopper

It was firing nine rounds a second, non-stop, for as long as you were in range — roughly 24 damage a second. That's now bursts of three with a real gap between them.

Being in a moving car actually protects you. The faster you're going, the worse its aim gets.

You can escape it. Put distance between you, or drive fast, and it loses you.

Shooting from a vehicle

Fixed a bug where drive-by shots were aimed at the ground far behind your target instead of at the target. If your crosshair was on someone, you were still missing. That's fixed.

Accuracy from a stopped car is now close to shooting on foot, and gets worse the faster you drive.

The city

Far more civilians on the streets, and they now walk on the pavements instead of spawning inside buildings.

Other

The AI players talk much less. There's now a hard limit on how often anyone speaks, on top of the existing per-player cooldown.

Turrets that are out of ammo no longer show a laser — they show NO AMMO above them instead.

Big Tony's services (titles, repairs, paint, fuel tanks, Pay 'n' Spray) now only appear when you talk to Tony, not whenever you stand near a car.

Reduced audio processing during chopper chases.
