The heart of this update is that buildings are no longer untouchable scenery — walls can be blown open and brought down, and you finally have the tools to put them back together. It also fixes the crashes, save issues and stat problems you reported.

Added a building destruction system: walls can be destroyed by weapons, explosions and melee attacks.
Once a wall takes enough damage, the building collapses.
Tearing down walls drops building materials such as stone, wood and glass.
Buildings generated in the world now come with random damage (bullet holes, breaches, collapsed corners) for a more convincing wasteland feel.
Every destructible object now shows progressive damage as its durability drops.
Wall damage near a furnace is reduced to 1/4, so smelting no longer wrecks your own base.
When destroying something in melee, the highlighted object is the one that actually gets destroyed.
The handheld laser cannon can now punch through walls; fixed it damaging the player.
Added the Repair Hammer: right-click to repair damaged buildings and built objects (furnaces, workbenches, furniture, etc.).
Repair material costs are based on what the object drops when destroyed.
When a repair needs liquids such as fuel, they can be drawn straight from a container.
Right-clicking a gun now offers "Repair All Attachments" to repair every attachment on it at once.
The MOD editor now supports repair recipes as well.
Magazine durability is now 5× higher, with extra tuning for high-capacity magazines so they no longer break after a few uses.
Attachments are no longer removed automatically when their durability hits zero: they stay on the gun with reduced effect and return to full effect once repaired.
Durability drain on attachments and melee weapons is slower overall, making them far more durable; a few clearly out-of-line drain values have been reined in.
Fixed the game crashing when destroying vehicles, safes and similar objects.
Steam Cloud saves now upload in chunks, fixing upload failures with oversized saves and the rollback where a failed upload let an old cloud save overwrite local progress.
Fixed clothing armor providing no damage reduction at all, and rebalanced armor values.
Fixed difficulty settings not fully applying.
Fixed companion and survivor NPCs having broken health and dying in one hit.
Targeted fixes for missing buildings, lost digging changes on underground floors, town buildings missing due to interrupted generation, and objects duplicating when switching floors.
Fixed changes potentially being lost while backing up a save.
Fixed monster body parts showing as white squares.
Fixed houses burning forever once set alight, catching fire while standing where there is no fire, and misaligned burning effects on trees and walls.
New item "Attribute Enhancement Serum": has a chance to drop from enemies and permanently grants +1 to an attribute, up to 10 injections.
Characters uploaded by players now show up randomly in other players' worlds.
Added the gameplay option "Corpse Decay".
Cutting grass drops grass seeds that grow a small patch of grass when scattered on the ground; grass you cut no longer grows back after loading a save.
The paint system now supports importing a local image as a pattern.
Added mouse and controller sensitivity sliders to the game settings.
Supermarket shelves added to the construction menu.
Furnaces can now smelt plastic products; charcoal produced by generators and furnaces can be stacked.
Scopes can now be mounted on the railgun / mining laser / tesla gun.
Magazines can be disassembled to recover the spring; starting with a submachine gun now includes a free magazine.
Powder bags can be stacked, and one powder bag crafts 4 explosive arrows.
Added a "Dismantle" option to airdrop crates.
Companion NPCs now show their name and health bar above their head.
The "Collect Specific Items" order now works: pick a category and an item, and your companion collects only that item.
The "Gather Supplies Freely" order now works, and everything gathered goes into the shared inventory (whose capacity has also been increased).
Fixed companion NPCs not eating or drinking.
Fixed companion and survivor NPCs constantly prompting to take items and swapping gear over and over.
Fixed NPCs and companions walking into the sea, and a full backpack interrupting their actions.
Neutral NPCs no longer attack the player; fixed NPCs not pumping air guns.
Refuelling a vehicle and installing parts can now use materials stored in the trunk.
Vehicle batteries now drain charge instead of durability.
"Extract 1 L of fuel" is now "Extract 5 L of fuel"; tire wear is halved.
Flamethrower fuel consumption halved; fuel and water kept in a rig or a clothing pocket can also refill the flamethrower / high-pressure water gun.
Headwear / masks / cloaks now show a durability bar, and lighting tools show a charge bar.
Added an "Install Battery" button to flashlights and similar items (previously drag-and-drop only).
Right-clicking an attachment in the weapon modification panel removes it directly.
Improved streetlight and flashlight light sources to avoid overexposure where several lights overlap.
Fixed some settings causing a very low screen resolution — turn off "Perfect Pixel Post-processing" for the sharpest image.
Reduced loading time before entering the game; sped up opening the map screen.
Fixed square bright edges on furnace / stove smoke, furniture and shelves being hidden behind walls, and built objects being visually offset after leaving an area and coming back.
Fixed streetlights not lighting up when entering a new area at night.
The MOD editor now supports recipes (including repair recipes).
When a MOD is detected as missing on load, you can choose "Clean up" / "Keep" / "Don't ask again"; added a "Clean Up Missing Items" button to the MOD management screen.
Fixed vanilla recipes being lost when a MOD replaces a vanilla item, missing MODs preventing backpack sorting, and weapons displaying at the wrong size when a MOD is missing.
Fixed item yields being too low; fixed several item rarity bugs.
The crafting panel now pauses the game (and resumes automatically while crafting); added a "Take All" button to the output slots.
For food in the crafting queue, shelf life now starts counting from when it is actually finished.
Cash totals and payments now include money in rigs and clothing pockets.
Buttons in the construction panel now show their hotkeys.
The "Infected Count" setting now applies immediately when changed mid-game; wildlife numbers are no longer affected by it.
Wildlife no longer spawns near furnaces; fixed animals and zombies spawning inside the player's base yard.
Fixed deer / bear death animations and corpses, animals getting stuck against doors, fleeing animals bunching up, and animals stacking on the same coordinates after loading a save.
Fixed arrows / lasers not hitting monsters such as centipedes, and the player being unable to damage bears and deer.
Fixed hooked fish not following the float and there being no resistance when reeling in.
Fixed bandages dropped on the ground allowing unlimited bandaging, and backpacks being installable on guns as a shell catcher.
Fixed the shell catcher being lost when disassembling a gun, disassembling the high-pressure water gun popping up a container selection, and the fuel container being filled with raw water when emptying a liquid weapon.
Fixed empty slots not accepting items after using "Put All".
Fixed the weapon holstering itself after using the laser hand cannon, and the crosshair getting stuck on the map after equipping the high-pressure water gun / flamethrower.
Fixed weapons remaining in the slot after durability hits zero, hotbar icons disappearing after holstering a weapon, and sheathed melee weapons showing no icon once an attachment is installed.
Fixed the new game "Town Density" option not matching actual generation.
Fixed being unable to move the cursor after driving a vehicle, the camera staying zoomed in after butchering, the alarm sound never stopping, and the grappling hook and vehicle engine ignoring the volume setting.
Objects under the cursor now take priority over objects at your feet for interaction options; deployed items no longer show up in the nearby items list.
Fixed interaction options lingering after processing an animal in an animal trap, and closing the tool selection screen breaking the pause.
A merchant's stock / prices / deals now stay the same until the next scheduled restock.
Closing the backpack now asks for confirmation if liquids are not in a container.
