The board is now isometric. Wend has been rebuilt on a flat isometric board of 479 tiles with new terrain and new art throughout.
Skeletons walk a lit rune road. The route carries randomized runes and a pulse that travels it once, so you can read where they will actually go.
The tile a tower stands on is what buffs it now, rather than a zone around it.
Towers can be built on water.
Tower crystals show their element, and fused towers draw their elements as separate facets instead of blending them.
Chain lightning replaces multishot. It leaps between skeletons and every link takes full damage, so your total damage is unchanged but it concentrates instead of spreading.
Build mode previews everything before you commit: the cost, the time, the route your tower would create, and the tier you would get from building onto a tower you already own.

Hover any tile outside build mode for a tooltip telling you what it is and what it gives.
A new home screen with a live board behind it, and smoother transitions between screens.
The Trials screen opens instantly. It used to stall for over a second before it drew anything.
Rounds are back to their intended length. A speed setting had been running the whole match three times too fast.
Cooperative and ranked now build exactly the same board the server is running. Before this the two could disagree with each other.
Towers fire and show their damage on every player's screen, not only the host's.
Kill counts stay in step for everyone in a match.
Pings land where you clicked on the isometric board.
Campaign is resting while it gets rebuilt, and bosses are removed for now.
Leaderboard times set on older builds have been cleared, because the new board is not the board those runs were played on.
