Update 0.16.0: weekly updates start now

FRAGLINE: Esports Manager · published 10 Sep 2026, 06:26 UTC · build 25224597

All eventsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

From now on FRAGLINE gets an update every Thursday. A fixed rhythm: you know when the next one lands, and I know what I am shipping.

This first weekly build is a small one, and almost all of it came from your suggestions. Keep them coming.

What you asked for

  • Personality badges explain themselves. Hover a badge like AMBITIOUS or MODEL PROFESSIONAL and you get what it actually does in the engine: how hard a rival pulls at that player, how a team talk lands, how long unrest sits.
  • Roles show the attributes they read. The role picker lists them under every role and marks the weak ones in amber, and the tooltip tells you what it takes to reach the next aptitude tier: how much attribute growth, or how many maps in the role. Retraining a player is something you can plan now.
  • Compare players side by side. Right click any player, anywhere in the game, and choose Compare. Up to four columns: ability, attributes, best roles per side, personality, languages. Players you have not scouted stay hidden, the same rule as their profile.
  • Scout straight from the market. The transfer table and Player Search now carry a visible scout button. No more digging through the right click menu.

Match engine

  • Armour wears down. Kevlar now carries durability and takes damage as it absorbs it. Worn armour costs full price to replace, intact armour is left alone, and the team panel shows what is left of it.
  • No more pistol round saves. The T side stopped treating a bare kevlar as loot worth saving, and a surviving T no longer collects the loss bonus when the clock runs out without a plant.
  • Dictated plants actually get planted. A set that ended in a hold aim was locking the bomb carrier in place. He now plants where you drew it.
  • Hunters come back to the bomb. After the plant, players chasing a save no longer drift into the enemy spawn and leave the site empty.

Scouting

  • Batch reports. Region, country and role assignments now come back the way they should: one report with several names in it, not a single player per threshold.

Fixes

  • Premier events invited you and took your slot in the draw, but on match day there was only "Advance day" and the tournament resolved without you. They are playable now, and an event you cannot enter no longer sends an invite.
  • SIM RESULT in the next map prep was dead and showed the previous map's score.
  • The match end screen mixed you up with the opponent when the map started on CT.
  • The SIM RESULT card showed 0-0 on the map that closed a series.

Community10 Sep 2026A Weekly Rhythm, and Where the Game Is HeadingHello everyone, To give the game a clear development rhythm, I'll be releasing an update every Thursday from now on. The only exception is critical bugs: if something urgent comes up and needs fixing, I'll still push a patch the same day or the day after. The game is clearly in a better state than it was at launch, and that's thanks to everyone who sent feedback and helped me track down bugs an…
