Hello, survivors!
Thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions.
Today's update adds the fuel-burning "Heater" and Electric Oven crafting recipe, allows the Ration Press to reprocess fragments back into blocks, and fixes a batch of preservation and visual display issues. Details are as follows:
Version: v1.0.14911
New Furniture "Heater": After receiving a cold wave warning, a new event will remind you to set up the stove before the temperature drops. It can be crafted using Sheet Metal and Wire.
New "Electric Oven" Crafting Recipe: A new planning card "Slow Roast and Fine Bake" has been added to the daily planning. After purchasing it, you can unlock the Electric Oven crafting recipe (Sheet Metal, Electronic Components, and tempered glass). Previously, Electric Ovens could only be bought from pre-disaster renovation companies, but now you can craft them yourself post-disaster.
Ration Press Upgrade: Ration fragments produced can now be poured back into the press slot to be compressed into whole blocks, and the fragments' Satiety value is not reduced—collecting four fragments can be pressed back into one complete ration block.
Freshness Display Optimization: Fixed an issue where food on tables, floors, and in backpacks would all be labeled as [Freezer] after obtaining the [Proper Storage] planning card.
Fridge Reminder Fix: Fixed an issue where the [Requires Fridge] reminder would fail and not display for any items.
Refrigerator Freshness Fix: Fixed an issue where food inside the refrigerator would lose its enhanced freshness effects and revert to base values after power outages, power restoration, or manual on/off operations. Freshness enhancement abilities now remain consistently active.
Expiration Date Display Fix: Fixed an issue where some food items scavenged outside showed higher expiration days on the backpack slot than the actual value. Now it matches the days shown in the item details.
Press Machine Material Source Fix: The material source range for the ration press machine has been corrected to include only the personal backpack and refrigerator—manufacturing materials stored in the tool cabinet should not appear in the press machine's material selection tab.
Press Machine Operation Fix: Fixed an issue where the start button would remain lit but unresponsive when a power outage occurred after material output was completed.
Visual Anomaly Fix: Fixed an issue experienced by some players where red lines/crosshairs would occasionally appear on screen, which was more noticeable during daytime and snowy weather.
Power Outage Display Optimization: During whole-house power outages, decorative lights now turn off along with other electrical items and automatically turn back on when power is restored.
Pre-Disaster Store Optimization: Fine-tuned the positions of several customers in the pre-disaster supermarket to make their positioning look more natural when shopping.
Codex Optimization: Cleaned up duplicate and unobtainable entries in the furniture codex, and correspondingly reduced the completion requirements for the "Shelter" and "Home Sweet Home" collection milestones; existing save files will see their codex completion rates increase accordingly.
Thank you for your support and feedback. We will continue to refine the game based on everyone's suggestions.
