Track Tool Updates

We have added more functionality to the track-laying logic to give you total control. No more fighting with presets or clunky junctions.

  • Precision Track Editing: We’ve moved away from the restrictive preset approach. You can now click and extend tracks freely to connect with any other segment.

Intuitive Connections: All you have to do is drag a track into another to attach it. The system handles the "stitching" automatically to ensure smooth transitions.

Auto-Generated Tunnels & Terrain Interaction

Nature and rail now work in harmony. This is our first major step toward a fully functioning tunnel system.

  • Instant Tunnels: Forget manual terrain lowering. Simply drag your track through a mountain or steep hill, and the game will auto-generate a tunnel through the terrain.

  • Realistic Embankments: For small elevations, we’ve ditched the pillars. The land now rises to create natural ramps and passes under the tracks, just like the real world.

  • Sea-Level & Water Carving: We’ve added a global water body surrounding the map. It is now incredibly easy to carve out rivers, lakes, and swamps simply by leveling the terrain below sea level.

Wraparound Grid: The build grid is no longer stuck at 0 elevation. It now wraps dynamically around the entire playable area, providing a consistent reference point regardless of the height.

New Foliage Tool

We’ve decoupled flora from the prop system to make world-building faster and more organized.

  • Dedicated Foliage System: Access a specialized tool focused entirely on trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass.

  • Predictable 'Count' Setting: We’ve replaced the confusing 'Density' slider with a 'Count' setting, giving you a much more predictable result when painting dense forests or meadows.

Paintable Flora: Use the brush to populate vast swathes of land in seconds. Select your model, set your brush size, and start painting.

The New Delete Tool

Cleaning up your map shouldn't be a chore. In addition to the context-specific "Shift+Click" we have added a dedicated, powerful deletion system.

  • Filter-Based Deletion: Use filters to target specific items. Need to remove just a patch of trees? Select the foliage filter. Need to clear everything? Select the 'All' filter.

  • Segment Deletion: You can now delete specific small segments of track rather than being forced to remove the entire line.

Brush Swipe: Use the brush tool to clear large areas of the map with a single motion.

Quality of Life & Visuals

  • New Maps: We’ve refreshed our library, removing undersized maps and adding much larger landscapes to support complex, long-distance routes.

  • Context-Based Cursors: The cursor icon now changes dynamically based on the tool you have selected, providing better visual feedback for your actions.

  • 3 New Trains: We’ve added three new train models of varying lengths to provide more diversity for your routes.

  • Refined Feedback: The UI now displays precise angles, elevation details, and proximity warnings while you are laying tracks or placing props.
