v1.46 — Gamepad hotkeys, for Xbox and PlayStation pads

Two players asked for this in reviews — controlling the translator from a gamepad, emulator-style. Here it is, and not just for Xbox pads.

NEW: You can now assign controller buttons or combos (for example BACK+A, or SHARE plus another button on a DualShock) to any app action: translate once, clear the overlay, toggle auto mode, switch view, and more. Assignments are made in Settings, in the new Gamepad section, with a press-to-capture UI — press the buttons you want and they are recorded. Both XInput controllers (Xbox-style pads) and HID controllers such as the DualShock 4 are supported, and the settings screen shows every controller it currently detects. Gamepad assignments work alongside your keyboard hotkeys. Nothing is assigned by default, and with no assignments the app runs exactly as before, with zero extra overhead.

NOTE: Combos are recommended over single buttons so normal gameplay does not trigger the translator by accident — the settings screen warns you about conflicting assignments. One known rough edge: buttons on HID controllers such as the DualShock currently show up under generic names (B1, B2, and so on) in the settings screen. Assignments work fine, but reading them back is not intuitive yet — a coming update will show what each assignment actually is in a clearer, controller-specific way. And if your controller does not appear in the detected list, please tell us the model on the community hub; controller hardware varies a lot, and real reports are how support grows.

ゲーム画面オーバーレイ翻訳Game update10 Sep 2026v1.50 — Cleaner lists, no stray hanzi, quieter numbersQuality pack round two, and once again every item comes from your reports — a Russian reviewer's screenshots, two players' requests about numeric text, and a visual-novel player's note about a misleading hint. Thank you. FIX: Item lists in Latin-alphabet games are no longer mistaken for a paragraph. Menus and inventories with evenly sized rows — RPG Maker games are a typical case — used to get…ゲーム画面オーバーレイ翻訳Game update9 Sep 2026v1.49 — Smarter line grouping, cleaner Ollama outputThis update comes straight from your reports — a detailed Russian review and a Japanese-menu report on the community hub pointed at the same weak spots. The fixes below improve translation for every language, with extra attention on Russian. FIX: Three improvements to how lines are grouped before translation. First, a sentence that a game wraps across several lines — speech bubbles, tooltips, c…ゲーム画面オーバーレイ翻訳Game update7 Sep 2026v1.48 — Pause, hide and resize your translation regionsThis update is for everyone using translation regions. Following recent feedback on the community hub, every region frame gets three upgrades: a pause button, a hide button, and resizable edges. Existing behavior is unchanged unless you use them. NEW: Each region frame now has two new buttons next to the ✕. Pause (the ⏸ icon) temporarily stops translating that region — the frame stays where it…
