Hey everyone,
We held off pushing a couple earlier patches so we can make sure these work and 0.6.2.1 ended up slightly bigger one than we originally planned, so thank you for your patience.
The main addition in this patch is the Weapon Repair function you can now find in the Armory. This has been one of the more consistently requested features since launch and we're happy to put out a quick implementation of it in. Alongside that, we’ve made a few progression and QoL changes, cleaned up some rough edges, and rolled in another batch of fixes from your reports.
Added Weapon Repair functionality to the Armory
Reduced the difficulty of Op. Aegis Core to make progression smoother.
Added duplicate keybind detection when remapping controls.
Increased the pickup radius for loot.
Partially Fixed several issues with Purple Challenge Walls that could cause players to become stuck inside.
This rolls several related fixes into one. We have a few more changes coming as we test and refine these encounters, but this should significantly reduce the chance of getting stuck.
Temporarily removed Purple Challenge Walls from Rift Exposure Zones, giving players a way to escape and extract while we continue refining the Extraction meta.
Fixed a crash when joining a lobby.
Fixed a crash that could occur on the mission results screen.
Fixed Botsy's skill descriptions to correctly display turret counts and values.
Fixed incorrect weapon stat information.
We're excited that we got to push this out as a bigger patch than just a small fix ahead of the weekend.
As a reminder: You will not be able to join Lobbies with different builds. In most cases you will not be able to see Lobbies with different version numbers, but if you try to join a lobby via Invite or Lobby Code to a different version, you will likely cause a crash. Please run a Verify Integrity check to make sure your game is up to date.
Thank you as always for your feedback.
