Seize Control 2.2.2 - Performance, Improvements & Bug Fixes

Seize Control 2.2.2 focuses on lower memory usage, faster folder browsing and live search, cleaner reload behavior, and polish across Explorer controls, settings, and themes.

Performance:

- Reduced idle and post-reload memory usage by lazy-loading editor resources, idling thumbnail workers, bounding internal caches, batching settings startup work, and deferring plugin and theme metadata until needed.

- Reduced large-folder memory usage by virtualizing Explorer list and grid views so only visible items are rendered while selection, keyboard navigation, drag/drop, rename, and context menus keep working.

- Improved folder loading responsiveness by collecting file metadata in bounded batches instead of one item at a time.

- Improved live search responsiveness with faster early filtering, fewer repeated result sorts, and lighter note matching while preserving the current search behavior and result limits.

- Improved reload cleanup so Ctrl+R and Ctrl+Shift+R release app-owned search, audio, theme, thumbnail, and subscription resources more reliably.

Explorer:

- Fixed fast folder navigation so older folder loads no longer overwrite the latest folder view.

- Moved the grid tile size slider to the bottom status row beside the item, folder, and file counts.

- Moved grid view slider placement to a row below where item folder files counts exist.

Settings:

- Added a Reduce visual effects Appearance setting to disable blur, filters, and other expensive frontend effects without turning off GPU acceleration.

App Themes:

- Enhanced the Official themes with more consistent themed scrollbar styling and visual polish.

Fixes:

- Fixed the Open With loading message so it appears where the detected app list will show, including hover submenus.

- Fixed Steam bridge tray lifecycle so startup-minimized and resume-from-hibernation tray-only sessions no longer leave the Steam bridge running unexpectedly; visible windows still keep Steam connected, and a new Behaviour setting controls tray-only bridge behavior after the first 24 hours.
