SeizeControl - App Themes · published · build 24746198
This update brings camera RAW photos to SeizeControl with real thumbnails everywhere, instant full-resolution viewing, and a Develop panel with export, plus plugin media improvements and other polish.
SeizeControl now understands camera RAW files: Panasonic .rw2, Canon .cr2/.cr3, Nikon .nef, Sony .arw, Adobe .dng, Olympus .orf, Fujifilm .raf, and Pentax .pef. RAW files show real thumbnails in the grid, folder peeks, search results, and the details pane, with proper image icons and type names like Panasonic RW2 Image.
RAW files open instantly in the File Viewer on the camera's embedded preview, then automatically sharpen to the full-resolution image for true 100% zoom and focus checking.
The new Develop panel gives you a live histogram, camera info (camera, ISO, shutter, aperture, focal length, dimensions, capture time), and real develop controls: White balance, Exposure, Highlights, Noise reduction, Color smoothing, and Detail quality. Adjustments preview quickly at reduced size, then refine to full quality, and developed results are cached so reopening a photo is instant.
Export saves the developed photo as JPEG, PNG, or 16-bit TIFF for editing elsewhere. Panel visibility, detail quality, and export format are remembered.
Soundboard now handles sounds of any practical size: pick a long WAV or MP3 and it plays via buttons and hotkeys, and keeps working after restarts.
Picked sounds and images now link to the file on disk instead of storing a copy, like theme media. Moving or deleting the original just asks for a one-time re-pick.
When a plugin panel action fails, the toast now says why, and the failure is recorded in the plugin's Activity Log.
For plugin authors: files.pickFile now returns a private file reference instead of raw file data, with no size caps, and plugins never see file paths. The audio and overlay image APIs accept these references, and oversized storage writes now error instead of silently corrupting data. The in-app API reference and snippets are updated.
Fixed corrupted letters and symbols across the Croatian, Italian, and Afrikaans translations.
