We're thrilled to be part of the Cozy Games Celebration happening right now on Steam! To mark the occasion, we've been hard at work on a new demo update packed with visual improvements, new systems, and a bunch of fixes based on your feedback. Here's everything that's new:
The opening cutscene with Heidi and Grandpa has been redone! The characters have a “boiling” animation, trees sway in the breeze, clouds drift across the sky, and the whole scene feels much more alive!
Heidi is now sharper! Following your feedback, we increased the resolution of her viewport
Added a new background for Peter's hut
The end-of-demo "newcomers" cutscene has a brand new background too
Heidi now has a sad expression for certain dialogue moments
Interactive buttons in the world now disappear while Heidi is in a conversation, for a more immersive experience
Refreshed icons for the time speed controls
The goat shed has been completely rebuilt! It's bigger, and now includes a proper sleeping space for Heidi!
Benno has a brand new van! 🚐
Orders system: NPCs can now place orders for specific products! Fill them more or less perfectly and be rewarded accordingly, giving you renewed interest for making mountain products!
Reworked dairy mini-game: the tiles now display a quantity of product. Match two identical tiles and their quantities add up directly into your inventory. And if your goats have been eating the right flowers, you'll get a little bottle of super milk - place it on a tile to boost the quantity of products attached to it!
Removed the QTE for guiding goats toward flowers, making herding feel more relaxed and natural
Mac version is now available! 🍎
