We've got big news today —
we're preparing Maid Cafe Simulator for Steam Next Fest! 🎉
Our dev team has been polishing the demo and refining gameplay based on all the feedback we received from our Closed Alpha. Here's a peek at what we've been working on.
ROAD TO NEXT FEST
1. Cooking System: Refined & Improved 🍳
The cooking experience is getting a major polish pass. We're improving the cooking station interactions and adding more depth to the process so each dish feels more satisfying to prepare.
2. Maid Movement & AI: Smoother Than Ever 🐾
Based on alpha feedback, we've been improving how the maids move around the cafe — better pathfinding, more natural transitions between tasks, and clearer status indicators so you can read the floor at a glance.
3. Maidroid: Now In-Game! 🤖
The Maidroid — your new automation buddy at the cafe — is officially complete and implemented in the game! These adorable SD-style robot helpers will assist you in running the cafe more efficiently as your business grows.
On top of that, we've also finished implementing special Maidroid skins modeled after the maids themselves — think tiny chibi versions of your favorite girls working alongside you. These character-themed Maidroid skins will be available as paid DLC after the main game launch. Stay tuned for more details!
4. Maid Outfits: Coming Up Next 👗
And the part we know many of you have been waiting for… the maid outfits are next on our roadmap. What kind of working attire will the maids return in? Stay tuned — we think you'll like it. 😉
